The next morning came and as always, I woke up happy seeing Johnny lying next to me.  We ended up sleeping in his room and his bed.  We liked to alternate sometimes.

The morning sunlight made Johnny’s ring gleam.  He told me that he was never going to take it off.  He still layed sound asleep.  He looked cute doing so.

I gave Johnny a peck on his forehead before I got out of the bed.  But before I could do so, I felt a tug at my arm that was from Johnny.

“It’s still early Dally.  Can we stay in bed and cuddle for just a little longer?”  Johnny said sleepily.

“I don’t see why not and you know I can’t say no to you.”  I responded laying back in bed with him.

I stayed in bed with him and held him for a little bit longer.  I didn’t mind doing so either.  I would do this all day if I could.  But today I had some plans.

I wanted to get to the record store early today because a new album by The Rolling Stones was going to be released (Note from author: At first I made that up but then I looked up some albums that came out in 1966 and one by The Rolling Stones did actually come out!  Also, I like The Rolling Stones as well).

I was a big fan of the band so I wanted to get their latest album as soon as possible.

“Johnny, I love you but I’ve got some place I need to go to this morning.”  I told him.

“Where do you have to go?”  Johnny wondered.

“I mean, you can come if you want to.  I’m going to the record store to get the new Rolling Stones album.”

“I do like the angelic sound of Mick Jagger’s voice and just records in general so I guess I’ll go.”

“That’s great then, we should get ready though, we don’t want to be too late.”

Johnny nodded as he hopped out of bed to get ready to go.  It didn’t take him or I long at all to get ready.  We were out the door in a matter of minutes.

We walked there because it wasn’t all that far.  Plus, it gave Johnny and I more time to talk with each other.

“So, I didn’t know you liked The Stones.”  I said.

“I like a lot of bands and singers.  Sometimes I forget about some.  I mean, I kind of recently got into them mostly because you liked them.  I can see why, they’re really good!”  Johnny exclaimed.

“Yeah, I’ve been into them since I was a freshman in high school.  What’s your favorite song by them?”

  “I guess I like ‘I can’t get no satisfaction’.”

“That’s a good one.  I bet their new album Aftermath is going to have some really great stuff on it!”

  “I bet.”

Johnny and I continued to walk down the streets.  Just talking and laughing until something disrupted our good time.  I was first really confused by what happened in the first place.

All we did was walk past an alleyway.  Before I knew it, Johnny was out of my sites.  He was taken into the alleyway by a person obviously.

I was just a bit confused at first because it happened at the speed of light.  I didn’t even hear Johnny scream.  That’s how quick it happened.  I eventually figured it out though.  I got out my switch blade that I still carried around.

“Hey, what’s the big idea?  You better show yourselves!”  I demanded.

It wasn’t just one person.  It was three all too familiar faces.  I didn’t even see them in forever.  Not since the day he slit my cheek with his blade.

My old friends Tony, Stephen, and who could forget Shawn.  I still had the scar from where he cut me.  That was such a long time ago too.  But I could never forget it.

T/W: Mild violence and threatening to cause violence up ahead.

"I told you that one day we were going to get  back at you Dally!  I know I said that I was going to kill you but I think I’d rather kill your little boyfriend here instead!  I think that would be a better thing to do!”  Shawn grinned menically.

He had a tight grip on Johnny and held his own switchblade close to Johnny’s neck.  Johnny was beyond in fear.

I watched him try to break loose but he couldn’t.  I wasn’t scared of Shawn.  He wasn’t going to lay a single finger on Johnny.  Not on my watch.

I made a promise to Johnny to keep him safe and protect him.  I wasn’t going to break it.  I just didn’t really know how to get out of this situation we were in at the moment.

I had no plan whatsoever.  I knew that Shawn was going to hurt Johnny no matter what.  I needed to come up with something and fast.

“You better let him go right now!  I swear I’ll kill you if you do anything to him!”  I shouted holding my blade towards Shawn.

“Are you trying to threaten me?  Am I supposed to be scared?  Because it’s not working!  I will slit his throat without hesitation!”  Shawn raged.

Before I could say anything else, Johnny did something.  Shawn had his arm squeezed around Johnny’s chest and arms.  I watched him multiple times try to break loose by using his legs but he wasn’t succeeding at that.

So I guess Johnny came to another solution.  Shawn was too busy paying attention to me, he didn’t even pay attention to Johnny.

Johnny leaned his head down and bit Shawn right on the arm.  Yes, bit him with his teeth.  It was rare when somebody used that in a fight.  Usually a last resort and Johnny definitely needed that.

I was a little shocked but very proud.  He defended himself.  He also bit Shawn so hard that he ended up letting himself free.  It must have caused Shawn a lot of pain.  Once Shawn grabbed his own arm and ached in pain, Johnny took the opportunity to run.

He ran to me and I held him against my chest making sure to protect him.  In my other hand, I held my blade.

“Your boyfriend just bit me!”  Shawn cried.

“Hey, I count that as self defense!”  I laughed.

“This still isn’t over!  I won’t kill Johnny but I will kill you!  Let’s finish this fight but let’s make it to the death!”

  “It’s on Shawn!”

At that moment, I realized that I couldn’t let Johnny be here for many reasons.  I had to keep him safe which meant having him run far away as possible from the scene.

“Johnny, baby, listen to me, you need to get out of here right now!  I can’t have you here.  I want you to run home as fast as you can and don’t look back.”  I informed him.

“But Dally, what about-”  Johnny began.

“Don’t worry about me!  I’ll be fine!  Just wait for me, okay?”

“Okay, but promise me that you’ll make it out alive.”

  “I promise.  Now go!”

Johnny wrapped his arms around me giving me a hug.

“I love you Dally and if you die then I don’t know what I’m going to do.”  He whimpered with tears forming in his eyes.

“I love you too and I told you, I promise I’m going to make it out alive.  Now you really need to get away from here.”  I told him.

Johnny nodded and I watched him run off.  Once he was out of my sight, it was time for Shawn and I’s final face down.

It was time to finish this fight once and for all.

A/N: Sorry this was so long and I left you on a cliff hanger like that.  But I think next chapter will be the last part so stay tuned!
