Chapter 3 Part 4

"Guys, have you heard that there was a big incident happened last night?"

"Yeah, I heard the mansion was on fire."

"Are everyone safe?"

"Dunno, Emily hasn't reported to us yet."

The mercenary is hearing all those conversation. This fire incident is a hot topic right now. He drinked his glass for a while and put it back again. "Huh, good thing I didn't go there yesterday. I knew it those hunters will do something against us." 

A woman who sit beside him only laughed and nudged his shoulder. "Stop being negative, Naib. I'm sure it was a mistake."

"Yes, Martha. And that mistake is those dumb survivors believe in and choose to befriended with them."

Martha only lifted her shoulders and decided to leave. She knew that the mercenary really have something against hunters. 

When she walked back to her room, she saw Eli came out from clinic room. Eli saw Martha and called her.

"Martha? I thought you were in event party." Martha shook her head and said she went back earlier because party thing isn't really her taste.

Eli nodded his head. "Say Eli, What's your feeling about fire incident yesterday?"

Eli widen his eyes." What fire incident?"
Martha confused at Eli and then explained all things to him.

Eli gives a shocked expression and decided to leave. He wanted to see the rest of survivors. 

"By the way, Eli." Eli turned to see Martha. She smiled and said. "You have a really beautiful eyes." 

Eli blushed in embarrased and realized he didn't wear his blindfold yet. He quickly went outside and took out his blindfold. And don't forget to call his owl.

"One of us is missing?" Leo nodded his head. He can see all hunters expression with shocked and doubt.

"Hah, there's no way a hunter can die from fire like that. Except he's either being dumb or weak." Joker said with doubtful voice.

"I didn't say he's dead. I only said he's missing". Joker only ignored Leo's statement. It's really not his business.

"We can't do anything anyway. Maybe he's just searching for fresh air. You are worried too much, Hell Ember." Said the Soul Weaver or Violetta. 

Leo knew other hunters won't be really care if one of them is missing or dead. All they care is their selves and satisfication. 'This is tough.' He thought. Leo takes a look at Michiko. She still in her guiltyness and doesn't look good.

Leo sighed and spoke up again. "Listen, this is a serious situation. We lost our partner. And that's our problem too. Wu Chang is missing. So, I want all of you to search for him." Other hunters looked at each other and whispered. It became crowded. 

Then suddenly someone speaks. "Pft, why we need to search such a weak hunter? It's even better for us. So there won't be any disgrace for us hunters." Bloody Queen said it with understimate look. The others hunters think about her statement and some of them agree. 

Leo slapped his own forehead. "Why those hunters can't be coorperate?!" Suddenly, Leo realized Michiko isn't beside him anymore.

Leo widen his eyes when he sees Michiko already stood in front of Mary with her knife fan. He's in panic state now.

"And look who is this?" Mary showed her mocking smile. "Someone is trigerred huh? Not suprised." 

Michiko glared at her. She kept hold her knife fan until she moved her fan near her neck. Shut your mouth or you want to beheaded again."

Mary felt mad at her. She took out a broken sharp mirror. "Let's see if you can hold longer." 

"THAT'S ENOUGH." Michiko and Mary stopped at their action. Leo can feel he's going to have a heart attack.

"I didn't force you to search him. For everyone who want to help me and Miss Geisha to search Wu Chang, you may stay here." Leo took a half breathe and continued. "If you don't want to like Bloody Queen, you may leave and return to hunter manor. Now." 

Others hunters whispered at him and then go to decided. Mary looked at Michiko once again. She gives a disgusted look. "We will continue this later." She said with threatening voice and left her. Michiko only stared her with flat expression and went back to Leo.

Leo sighed in relief. Atleast, he can stop a fight. For now. And he saw the rest of hunters went back to manor. Leo went to Michiko and apologized. "I'm sorry, Miss Geisha. But it looks like we can't search Wu Chang with only two of us." 

Michiko didn't say a word from her mouth. Leo know she's really disappointed.

"You mean four of us?" 

Leo heard someone's voice and the turned around. When he discovers whose voice it is. He can't believe in his eyes. "You..!"
