Second Chance (Continuation)

Chapter 3 Part 10

Eli stared at Jose closely. He sees that those spirits took his mind on control. He needs to be stopped before it's too late. But the thing is how he can separate Jose from those spirits.

Michiko saw the umbrella Jose's holding. Isn't that Bi An's umbrella that he always carries around? How can he have it? 

Michiko clinched her both hands. "What did you do to Xie?" 

Jose gives a confused look. "Xie? You mean that pathetic killer? I was just teaching him some lessons." Jose laughed loudly. Eli thinks he is been possesed hard. 

Michiko asked once more again. "What did you do to him?" Eli feels Michiko's pressure seems different now. "Calm yourself Hunter Geisha. He's just playing with you." He whispered.

"Oh, you know. I only asked him to open his umbrella since he's the only one who can. But he is too stubborn." Jose gives a smirk. "Seeing someone who you hate suffered is fun, right?" 

Michiko then dashed toward Jose and took out her knife fan. Eli is shocked on Michiko's sudden act. But for a moment, he can see something different inside Michiko. He can't tell what it is.

Jose sees she is going to attack him. He then lauched some shadows to her. Michiko agilely dodges them. She throwed a green butterfly behind Jose. 

Michiko dashed straightly to Jose. Jose quickly made a shield in front of him but his back is opened widely. Michiko took this chance. She blinked where the butterfly she just throwed. When she is right behind Jose, she's going to attack him. 

But suddenly, Michiko stopped her movement. Jose smiled with mocking look. "What's wrong? Why do you stop?" 

Jose defended himself with the umbrella. Aside from how important the umbrella is for Bi An. She knows it's not just an ordinary thing. There is a person inside it. 

Jose won't miss this chance. And he launched some shadows attack to Michiko. Michiko shocked and realized she was spaced out for a bit. She doesn't have time to dodge them.

Eli sees she won't dodge them all. He immediately tells his owl to protect her. Brooke Rose quickly flies toward Michiko and suddenly there is a shield protect her. 

"What is this?" Michiko whispered when she realized she didn't get any injured. 

Eli can feel his headache now. His Wing of Protections side effects makes him dizzy. 'I only used one Wing Protections and I am already this dizzy?' He thought.

"Hey, where is Hell Ember?"

"Didn't he say he's going to search the missing hunter?" 

"He still hasn't come back?"

"Maybe he's dead already."

Joker feels annoyed at how loudly are those hunters gossiping. He only wants to read his own magazine peacefully. "CAN YOU JUST SHUT UP?" Unfortunately, no one seems care about him. 

Joker shouted in frustration. Then, he saw The Feaster walked out from hunter's manor. Joker is wondering where would he go out. But since it's not one of his business, he doesn't want to care about him. 

Before he leaves, Joker can hear some Feaster's word come from his voice.
"How dare they..

..touch one of my belongings." He said with angry tones before he leaves from hunter manor. 

Joker feels his decision is right to not intervene.
