Second Chance (Continuation)

Chapter 3 Part 12

Michiko threw two butterflies on each side near Jose. She used her dashes directly to the right butterfly she just aimed. Jose summoned another shadow and attacked her from the side. 

'She kept defend herself and won't attack.' He thought. Michiko kept dodging all his attacks even some of them successfully hit her. 

Jose smiled in victory. He thinks it will be an easy win for him. "Just give up already. You can't defeat me." 

Michiko stared at him for a while. And suddenly there were bunch of green butterflies in front of him. Jose feels irritated and he can't see clearly. Then, Michiko was right behind him. She quickly used her knife fan to Jose's hand who is holding the umbrella.

Jose screamed in pain. "Why you-." He didn't expected those butterflies are just for his distraction. He let go off the umbrella and it was thrown away. 

Michiko didn't take off that chance. She quickly ran to the umbrella. But, unfortunately there is a shadow launched at her. It hit on her right shoulder.

Another shadow blocked her way. Jose smirked at her. "You thought you are going to get the umbrella, huh?" 

Michiko heard all his laughs,  but she only smiled at him. "Who said I will get that umbrella?"

Jose gives a confused look. Then, he realized someone already took it. "No way.." He forgot about that seer.

"Hunter Geisha, my owl already found Hunter Wu Chang!" Michiko heard Eli's voice from the voice communication. She still sees that Jose is in frustration state. "He was under the basement." 

Michiko then threw the butterfly under the upper floor. She immediately blinked to it. Jose shocked at all this sudden moment. He can feel all his anger now. He released all shadows around him and ordered. "Get them all!"

"Hunter Geisha, I already take the umbrella with me. Do you think you can take him away from basement?" 

"Yes, I'm sure I can do it." Michiko said it without a doubt. She released another butterfly and aimed to basement to blink again.

When she already managed to get in. The basement looked small and narrow with a little dark. She looked around and saw a figure laying down there.

Michiko widen her eyes. She finally found the person she is looking for. She quickly ran towards him and cut off the ropes with her knife fan.

"Xie.." She saw his body is fully injured and looked so weak. Out of sudden, she feels something inside her. Hatred? Vengeance? 

She shook her head and calmed herself. Again. 'No, don't.' She closed her eyes and kept telling herself to calm until she heard someone's voice. "Miss..Michi..ko?" 

Michiko opened her both eyes. Bi An is calling at her with a weak voice. "What..are you doing..here?" 

Michiko hold Bi An with her both her hands tightly. "You are going to be fined." And suddenly, she heard Eli's voice again throughout the voice com.

"Hunter Geisha quick! Get out from there! Those spirits are going to catch up at us." 

Michiko can hear her heart is beating fast right now. They already found Bi An and get the umbrella back. But they can't handle those spirits. Joseph and Leo still hasn't connected to them. Are they going to survive?

Michiko shook her own head and stop thinking negatively. She carried Bi An and blinked with her butterfly dash from basement.
