The next morning, Aurora sought out to find Remus after her classes. She found him wandering the corridors. She grabbed his arm and dragged him into an empty classroom. "I know your secret," She said. Remus held his breath. He was hoping that she was talking about something else. Aurora brought her voice to a whisper, "You're a werewolf."

This was Remus's worst nightmare; people finding out. The Cresswells couldn't keep out of newspapers. There was no way she'd keep it a secret. She was basically a Slytherin. She and her family hated half breeds. She'd tell the entire world, and he'd be forced to leave Hogwarts. He couldn't help but cry. He loved his friends. He never felt more at home anywhere else.

Aurora was shocked at the werewolf's reaction. She didn't expect him to start crying. Then she realized who she was, and hugged him. He froze. He wasn't expecting her to hug him. He didn't hug her back. He wasn't sure why she was hugging him. "Oh, Remus. I'm not going to tell anyone."

"Y-you're not?"

"No, silly. I told you I knew because I didn't want you to feel alone!"

"But you hate half breeds!"

"My family hates half breeds, not me. I couldn't care less. Meet me here tonight, okay?" Remus returned her hug and agreed. Aurora surprised him. Sirius was right. Now, Remus knew that she wasn't like her family. Then, why would she go out with a dick like Lucius? He knew her family wasn't making her anymore as she got disowned. Remus hoped Sirius would catch onto her.

Aurora went to McGonagall's office. Dumbledore was here too. They were in the middle of a conversation, so she patiently waited outside. "Maybe we should re-sort her," Dumbledore suggested, "She spends all her time in the Slytherin Commons Room anyways. She's barely a Gryffindor-" Aurora interrupted them. She didn't know what they were talking about, but she was growing impatient. "Sorry, professors. I have a kind of...wierd request." The two professors looked at each other. "Yes, I was just going to discuss that with you," Dumbledore said. Aurora frowned at him. How could he know? "How'd you know?" Now McGonagall and Dumbledore were confused. What was she talking about? "Perhaps we're speaking of different things," McGonagall said. "Hypothetically, where would I find a book that would teach one to become an animagus? I'm not going to use it, per se. Just curious." McGonagall slightly smirked. She knew why the child was asking that. She looked at Dumbledore again. Dumbledore smiled proudly. He no longer doubted the hat's choice. "Well, Miss Cresswell, that information is very top secret. I can't just go telling students that," McGonagall said. Aurora sighed and turned away.

"Thanks anyway."

"You most certainly would not find it in the restricted section. Also, Madam Pince will not be gone tonight at 7:00 PM for about 15 minutes." She scribbles something, "I need you to get this book from the library, for my class." Aurora grinned ear to ear and took the note. After thinking about it, she hugged Professor McGonagall. She really liked her. McGonagall smiled and hugged the child back, and Aurora ran out. "That answers that," McGonagall said. No one thought the day would come where a Cresswell was a Gryffindor.

At sharply 7:00 PM, Aurora made her way to the library. McGonagall was right; no one else was up here. Aurora smirked and went to the restricted section. She went to where McGonagall told her it'd be and retrieved the book. It was a particularly large book. She went up to the Slytherin dorms and put it in her trunk. She ran down to dinner. She'd read it later. She took her place with her boyfriend, who kissed her. She couldn't believe her first kiss was with Lucius. His kisses were boring. She felt nothing. She was counting the minutes until she could sneak out and see Remus.

Remus usually wasn't the type to sneak around. When he did, he was with James and Sirius, to try and keep them out of trouble. He wondered why Aurora wanted to meet with him. He wondered why she cared whether he felt alone or not. They were from two very different types of families. When he got to the empty classroom from earlier, Aurora was already here. She was reading a book. Did she want to study with him? He didn't bring his books. He was about to say something, but she looked up and smiled at him. "Come here," She said. He nodded and sat next to her. "You know what animaguses are?" Remus slowly nodded. "I'm going to become one. So you can have company. It's a tricky process, but I think I can do it." Remus was touched. No one had ever done anything like this before. He didn't even know what to say. "Are you sure? You don't have to..."
