Sirius woke up to someone vehemently shaking him. He groaned and opened his eyes. It took him a few seconds to remember where he was. He was at the Potters. His crush was sleeping on top of him. He wished he could stay like this forever. He found himself wishing that an awful lot these days. "Sirius! Wake.Up!" Mrs. Potter ordered. Sirius looked down at Aurora, and back at Mrs. Potter. "I-it's not what it looks like..."

"It looks like you're sleeping next to her."

"Okay, maybe it is what it looks like. I swear, I didn't mean for this to happen. We just...she found me awake last night, and we talked. That's all. She fell asleep, and I didn't want to wake her up," Sirius explained. Mrs. Potter extended her hand out, and Sirius flinched. She frowned at the boy. "I'm not going to hurt you, Sirius...Oh, God. You'll never be hurt. Never again. Not if I can put a stop to it, you won't. I was just taking the blanket off of you." Mrs. Potter left the blanket and the room, cursing under her breath.

After a few glorious minutes, Sirius gently woke Aurora up. She groaned and rubbed her eyes. It took Aurora a moment to realize where she was because she blushed. Sirius decided to not mention Mrs. Potter's little...visit. "Did you sleep well?" She asked. Sirius frowned.

"Huh?"

"Sleep. Did you sleep well?" No one had ever asked himself that. It was either a 'good morning,' or ignoring his existence. Or waking up to a prank. "Er, yeah."

"I didn't kick, did I?"

"No, you didn't. I think I might have kicked if anything."

"Yeah. My leg's a little sore." Aurora got up as if nothing had happened. Sirius was speechless, but he followed. He let Aurora take the upstairs bathroom, and he took the downstairs one.

An hour later, Sirius and James impatiently knocked on the bathroom door. "You've been in there for so long! Are you dying?" Aurora opened the door, and they saw her applying makeup. Sirius blushed, and James rolled his eyes. "Makeup? Seriously?" Aurora quickly finished her makeup and followed them down the stairs. When they reached the dining table, James asked, "Since when do you wear makeup?"

"James! You never ask a lady about her makeup! Shame on you!" Mrs. Potter scolded. Aurora laughed, "Since always, James. Since I was a kid. I always wear makeup."

"So...how do you look without makeup?" Sirius asked.

"The same. It's a natural look, Siri. It just enhances my features. I don't wear makeup at the nights. You've never seemed to notice."

"Wait really?" James asked, astounded.

"Er, yeah." The rest of the summer went by quickly. Aurora, James, and Sirius spent most of their time out of the house on some sort of adventure. Aurora felt bad for not being there for Remus during his transformation, but he had told her that it was okay. She still wished she could have been there. It's okay. I'll be with him soon. "And stay out of trouble, okay? That applies to you two. Not just James."

"Thank you, Mrs. Potter," Aurora said, hugging her. People stared at them. Aurora cleared her mouth and let go quickly, feeling guilty. She knew the Potters liked a quiet lifestyle. "I'll wait for you two on the train."

"Wait, Rors!" Sirius called, but it was too late.

"Poor girl. Can't even have 2 seconds of privacy in public," Mrs. Potter muttered. James hugged his mom once more, and they got on the train. "Where is she?" James muttered, scratching his head. "Guys! In here!" Aurora called. Sirius and James went in and found Lily, Marlene, and Donna sitting there. James grinned, and mentally reminded himself to thank Aurora later. "Heyyy, Evans. Miss me?"
