The white teacup with gold on the edges and a flower design across one side of it sat there while the girl walked away from it. It seemed sad in a way some-things just are. The girl had forgotten the teacup her grandmother had gotten her for her seventh birthday. She had a rainbow birthday that year and the girl was very confused when she got a white teacup among all the rainbow things she had gotten, but she kept in any way. Her grandmother had died just last week. Now it just sat there on the rusty old circular park table in New York, no paid it a second glance. It was a beautiful, shiny, and pretty cup before time had taken its toll. It was still beautiful but in a way that only some people can see, and one of those people came up to the table and stopped in front of it. They had seen the girl walk away from it and had been watching the table each day on their walk to work. Waiting for the girl to come back and get the teacup but alas, she never came. It had been over a week. The person wondered if she had even remembered that she left it or worse if she did and just didn't bother to come back for it. They picked up the teacup and put it in their brown leather bag and walked away. One more lost thing in the world had been found.
Sorry, this one is pretty short. The next one will probably be the same but hopefully, the one after that will be longer.
