Darling's POV

I jump to him with my hands around his neck and my legs around his waist holding him into a tight hug. "Thank you, thank you so much." I feel him smile against my neck. "You're welcome Doll."

I squeeze him in excitement and he lets out a breathy groan. "Im sorry did i hurt you?" I ask lifting my head up and looking into his blue eyes. He looks at my eyes then at my lips before clearing his throat and puts me at his side.

He looks everywhere but me. "No Darling its fine... I'm fine." I watch him get up putting his hands in his pockets. "You can get what you need from here now. Tomorrow we can come back to get the rest."

I nod smiling and run to my room. I get a small bag since i don't have much here anyway. I run out of my room. "Ready!" Michael turns to me and laughs. "I think that was a new record Darling." He takes my bag and opens the door for me.

A while later we get to his house and walk through the front door. Lily and Carly are laughing but Rose looks annoyed with them. They all turn to look at us. "Finally, can we eat now?" Said Carly.

"Yes but first. Girls there is something that Darling has to tell you." Michael said pushing me forward so they all look at me. "Well...as of today I'm officially moving in." Rose immediately runs to me squealing fallowed by Lily.

When i turn to see Carly she is livid and doing a poor job of hiding it. "Mike you went to apologize for whatever reason and she end up moving in?" Michael turn to her. "This is something that has been in the works for a few months now, before i even met you."

She puts on a fake smile. "I'm so happy for you Darling." I know exactly what she is doing but i don't understand why she hates me. "Thank you." We had dinner and Carly pretended i wasn't there.

I don't know why but it made me feel like i was imposing in a house i have always felt wanted.

"Open it Darling!" The twins throw me a letter when i walk in the house. "What? What is it?" I put my bag on the ground and grab the letter. It's from Juilliard, i had audition for them a couple weeks ago it's my dream school.

My hands shake.

I have been dancing, singing and acting my ass off for years so I could go. Please let it all be worth it. "Well open it!" Rose yells. "Wait we should wait for dad and Carly to open it" Lily stops us.

Rose roles her eyes. "Like that bitch cares." I laugh and Lily gets mad. "She is so nice don't call her that." Rose scoffs. "You and dad are so blind! She is horrible to Darling then acts like a Disney princess in front of you guys!"

I get in the middle like always. "Guys forget it okay and Lily as for Michael he won't care." I said honestly even if it still hurts. After i moved in i thought it was going to be great. Boy was i wrong, each month he would get more and more distant.

After the first year i stoped calling him dad. Two years later and he doesn't know anything about my life. I don't have to call him anything since we don't ever speak to each other.

Aunt GG gave me the option to be adopted by him or get emancipated. I chose the latter and i was approved because i had two jobs. I was going to move out last year but the twins beg me not to.

Lily was going to say something but i opened the letter. "Soo what does it say?" Asks Rose but i was frozen like i always I'm when i feel a strong emotion.

Lily takes the letter from me "HOLY SHIT she got in!" We all start to jump up and down screaming so loud we didn't notice when Michael and Carly walked in.

"Darling why are you being so loud?!" Carly yells at me even though we were all screaming. Michael glares at her but doesn't say anything, typical. Lily answers for me. "She got in to JUILLIARD!"

Michael's jaw clenches. "Juilliard? But i thought you had to audition for that?" Is he fucking serious? "She did. She told you about it too." Said Rose clearly annoyed. "How?" He asks his daughter in shook. "Michael i was gone for a week two weeks ago and i told you all about it." He looks how i feel, hurt.

Carly speaks up. "Darling he is a very busy person he only has time for important stuff." Ouch. "Darling is important." Lily claps back and im shocked. She is always blind to Carly's little comments here and there.

Like father like daughter.

I turn to the twins turning my back to the couple. "That's not surprising. Now can we go for ice cream to celebrate?" The twins smile at me. I grab my keys and we get past them into my car.

I got a new car with my money which was now a lot since i still have two jobs and i didn't have to pay for my mom's bills and pills anymore.

As I pull out of the driveway i see Michael looking at us with a sad expression through the window. He ignores me for years, i told him i auditioned for my dream school. Then he forgets it and he is sad?

He always looks like he's in pain, holding something back. I stopped trying to figure out why a long time ago. I will be gone in a months anyway because I'm not spending my summer here. I'm going to travel before I start Juilliard.

I will miss the twins but they understand that in here i feel unwanted. At least Rose does. Michael ignores me and Carly treats me like shit for no reason.

I need to get out!
