"I'm going to La Push today." I said. "Be careful, a guard was killed last night by an animal." replied dad. "An animal."I said. "You're not in Phoenix anymore Adam, but I have to drive to the police station." replied Charlie. "Be careful dad." I said. "I always am." he replied and went out the police car.
I drove to La Push and a boy with long hair waited at me. "Hi, I'm Jacob Black." he said. "Adam Swan." I replied. "Do you remember that we used to do mud cakes when we were little?" he asked. "Yeah, I remember that." I said with a laugh.

"Did you liked your homecoming present?" asked Jacob. "I love i." I said. "Dad will be happy to heart it." he replied and smiled.
"Do you know anything about the Cullens?" I asked. His smile faded and he looked at the waves. "Just that they're not welcome here." he said low. "Why?" I asked. "It's an old deal that my great grandfather created, if they promised to stay away from our territory, we wouldn't reveal them for the pale faces." said Jacob jokingly. "But they don't seem dangerous." I repiled. "They look harmless but they are predators." replied Jacob. "I don't understand, are Cullens vampires?" I asked confused. "Seems so." said Jacob and shrugged. I was silent and didn't know what to say. "It's just legends, I don't believe it either." he said and I nodded my head.
"You look just like Addy." said Jacob. "He's my twin brother who went missing many years ago." I replied. "He crossed our territory and Sam wasn't happy." he replied. "Did he told you where he was going?" I asked. "No." said Jacob.

When I drove back home I saw Edward's Volvo on the street and he was leaned against the door. I stepped out and went up to him. The first thing I noticed was that his eyes had a dark golden shade.
"Haven't your partens told you that it's impolite to stare?" he asked. I looked away and blushed. "Sorry." I said. "It's fine." he replied.
"Anyway, I'm going to Seattle on Friday and I was wondering if you want to come too?" I asked. "I've promised Emmett to camp with him in Goat Rocks, just south of Mount Rainier anyway." said Edward. "Okay, have fun." I replied and tried to not sound disappointed. "Thanks." he said.
He drove off when dad came home. I cooked dinner and talked about Jacob.
"Dad, do you know the place Goat Rocks?" I asked and took a bite of the steak. "Yes." said Charlie. "There were some who talked about camping there." I replied. "It's not a good place for camping, too many bears, most people just go there under the hunting season." he said. "I probably heard wrong." replied.
After the dinner went dad to the living room to watch a football match. I washed and did my homeworks. I know it's something mysterious about Edward and his family. I'll find out the truth and find out if Jacob's stories are true.
