"What's that?" asked Victoria. "My necklace." I said. She opened the locket and her eyes were filled with hate when she saw the picture.
"Do you know the Cullens?" asked Victoria and I shook my head. "They live in Forks and they murdered my beloved James." she said sadly. "I'm sorry to hear." I replied.
"A man named Carlisle killed him in front of me and laughed at me."said Victoria and I patted her arm. "He doesn't sound like a nice man." I replied and she shook her head.

"We have to do something." said Carlisle. "It's newborns who's behind this!" replied Jesper. "Like a army of vampires." said Adam. "Yes." replied Jesper.
Then it was a knock on the door and I went to open. Outside stood a girl with long dark hair and red eyes. I knew she was a newborn but I felt sorry for her.
"What's your name?" I asked softly. "Vanessa." she said. "Nice to meet you Vanessa, my name is Carlisle Cullen." I replied with a smile on my face.
