Ahsoka and Plo / one shots

Tarkin insults Ahsoka

Plo immediately knew that something was wrong with Ahsoka when she came back from the senate building. He noticed that her posture was more rigid and she would act serious when Anakin, the council, or the clones were around her. 

The council, Anakin, and the clones have tried to figure out what was wrong but she would always say that she was fine and was just tired before walking away and no one would see her for the rest of the day.

Anakin was worried, the council was concerned, and the clones were sad but every time they asked she would just say that she was fine.

The council could sense that she was hurting but any attempts to get her to talk would always have the same results, she would say she's fine before walking away to go sulk somewhere.

Plo then decides to find out what's wrong by himself, he goes to her and Anakin's quarters before knocking. Anakin opens the door and says "hello master Plo, I'm guessing your here to see Ahsoka."

Plo nods but Anakin sighs and says "I don't know where she is, no one's seen her sense lunch." Plo thinks for a second before saying "I'll go find her, thank you Skywalker."

Anakin nods and closes the door before Plo uses the bond with Ahsoka to help him find her, he sensed that she was in the gardens so he starts walking their.

When he got to the gardens he at first didn't see her anywhere but a second later he heard sniffling and crying. He immediately starts following the noise until he saw that it was coming from Ahsoka.

She was in the back of the gardens crying and had her back against a tree, Plo knew that people only come to the back of the gardens when they want to get away from their sadness and be alone.

He walks up to her and Ahsoka immediately looks up to see him, she went rigid and stood up while keeping her head down. She said "M-Master Plo I didn't expect to see you hear, I-I'll be on my way, I know you must be busy."

Before she could walk away though, Plo puts a hand on her shoulder and says "No little Soka, I came here to find you, pls sit." Ahsoka sighs but sits down against the tree with Plo right next to her.

He put an arm around her and said "Little Soka, pls tell me what's wrong, this isn't you. This isn't the fun loving Ahsoka who loves to make everyone laugh and puts a smile on everyone's faces when she smiles. What happened to her?"

Ahsoka closed her eyes and put her head down to try and keep away the tears until she felt Plo's finger under his chin and lift up her head so that she could see him.

That's when she broke, she started crying and Plo pulled her close to his chest. She sobbed and then started to explain to Plo why she changed.

Flashback

Ahsoka was walking Tarkin back to his quarters after being forced to guard him for a few hours. Before he went into his quarters though, Tarkin said "Padawan Tano, I would like to ask you something, why do the clones, the council and Knight Skywalker trust you so much when your just a reckless teenager that get others killed because of your lack of seriousness."

Ahsoka looks at him enraged and said "I do not! I try and protect my men and others as best as I can but this is war and not everyone survives."

Tarkin rolls his eyes and said "I thought the roll of a Jedi was to protect others with their life but so far you have yet to die so I can tell that your either too lazy or just acting like a reckless teen who causes death because of it.

Do you honestly think that your master, the clones, or the council trust you with how you act. There probably hoping that you die on a battle so that they don't have to deal with you anymore.

It's time for you to realize commander that this is war and as such we can't have such reckless behavior on the field, if you don't start acting like a proper Jedi should, which is without emotion, then I have a pretty good feeling that the council, your master, and the clones will leave you to die one day because of your behavior."

Tarkin then walks back to his door but before he closes it he says "Grow up commander." He then closes the door leaving Ahsoka in shocked silence. She never thought of it before but maybe Tarkin had a point, maybe she should stop and act like a proper Jedi.

She sighs and puts all of her emotions in the back of her mind before shielding then fully, her face puts on a calm emotionless face before walking back to the temple.

End of Flashback

Plo was shocked by her story and started rubbing her back as she just cried harder into his chest. After a while her tears stopped and Plo pulled away slightly and wipes away the rest of her tears with his thumb.

He pulled her back into a hug and said "Never change, your bubbly spirit is what keeps the clones fighting, it's what keeps the council from losing their smile, and it keeps Skywalker from doing anything too stupid."

Ahsoka laughed and smiled, Plo smiled back at her and said "there's that smile, now go rest, I need to take care of something." She nodded and walked back to her quarters.

Plo stood up and walked to the council chambers, he told them about what Tarkin did and the council were incensed but they couldn't go beat up Tarkin sense they would be put in jail for that.

They decided to get a restraining order, when Tarkin heard he tried to defend his himself as to why he said that to her but that just made the council more angry.

After the restraining order, Ahsoka never had to worry about Tarkin again.
