Red sagged against the edge of the table, the relief in his face evident. I'm sure I would feel the same way if I were in his position. He had narrowly avoided being 'ejected' (basically means sent to the Admin, where the computer would kill him in order to determine if he was imposter. We had just barely been able to fix the Admin.)
"Well, that's that," White said. "For now, no one will be suspect."
I gave a cheerful smile, attempting to lighten the mood, even though the thick smoke to torches emitted made me want to gag. "I'm sure we'll get this all figured out."
Green snorted, but I ignored her. I was used to pessimism by now.
White gave an easy going smile. "I'm sure you're right. Now then everyone, let's hop to getting those tasks."
"We can do this," Black said, trying to inspire us, just like me.
Blue attempted a smile that made my heart flutter. I'm sure he did that to every girl. "They're right. Let's do this team!" He put his hand in the middle of the table, and one by one we all joined.
I couldn't wipe the stupid smile off my face as we cheered.

I skipped down the hall making my way to the Reactor. According to Red at our latest meeting, the Reactor needed to be turned on in the Reactor room and then I needed to Align the Engine Output and accept the diverted power on another panel in the Upper Engine room.
I checked my port, humming to myself. I was in the Lower Engine room, so just up the hall. Passing the Security, I saw Red and Purple trying to fix the wiring in front of the door. They were clearly arguing over something.
I shrugged. They would hopefully figure something out.
Turning left, I entered the Reactor. I approached the panel. A mess of buttons and wire greeted me.
Alright, I guess this might take a while.

(hour and a half later.)
Okay this is frustrating. For the sake of Jupiter and all its moons just go together!!! Oh hey look. I did it.
I sighed in relief. Despite my attempts to remain positive, I had been pretty close to screaming in frustration and banging my head against the panel.
"Next stop, Upper Engine!" I crowed victoriously to myself. A smile remained adorned on my face.
I waltzed into the room, already excited to tell the others about my soon-to-be success. Scanning the room quickly revealed the two panels Red had explained about in detail. He said to start with the one close up on the left.
This one had a bunch of levers and more buttons. I huffed. Great, more killing my brain cells on a faulty machine.
I smoothed my yellow dress out, flattening the wrinkles. If I remembered correctly--
A chill that ran up my spine interrupted my thoughts before they could even start.
I turned around, but no one was there.
Odd...
I went back to solving the panel, striving to ignore the feeling. It was nothing. I think.
"Well, here's a lesson you'll get to learn but never use."
I gasped, but was unable to turn around as a sharp pain erupted in-between my shoulder blades.
