Freia
I awoke to my brother shaking me. As I opened my eyes I groaned at the painful headache I had.

"Where is she?" I ask groggily as I sat up.

"Where is who?"

"Brianna. She was here."

"Brianna is dead. Hunter told me before she left with the baby."

"And you didn't stop her! I told her to leave the baby with me! Ugh you insolent fool! And no Brianna is alive. Kinda. She's a vampire now, but I could care less on what she is, I just- I want her back."

"Freia. If what you say is true then Brianna is the one who tried to kill you. She is not a human anymore she is a monster."

"NO! She's just on the wrong path. My guess is that Liv turned her. I don't know how or why but If I can just talk to Brianna and knock some sense back into her then-"

"Then what? The village would not accept her."

"THEN ILL MAKE THEM!"

"Freia. Forget about Brianna. There are tons of females who would love for you to mate them. And besides we need to get ready for war. Please Freia, you know Liv better then anyone. You know her weakness."

"Heh. You think I know her weakness. And why? Because we used to be friends?Liv doesn't have any weakness. She used to but once she went back to wherever she came from Liv changed. She's a different person then before. I- I have little hope of this war. It's getting colder. The mammoths are coming out of hiding along with many other dangerous animals. Yes our pack is strong, but fighting amongst vampires and beasts is a whole different ball game. Especially now sense Brianna is one of them. You and I both know how strong underlings can be. Especially depending on there master."

"I see. Then maybe we should just leave. We could leave and build a new place."

"NO! I never back down from a fight! What kind of Alpha would I be if-"

"Fine. Then we need Hunters help."

"NO!"

"I know you don't like it Freia, but face it. Hunter is smarter and stronger then you when given the training. If we could just train her like father and mother had planned from the start then..."

"Tsk. You don't get it. If she gets strong then I'm done. When she realizes what she is she will challenge me and I will loose everything! She will take Brianna away from me!"

"Brianna is already gone! And besides I doubt that once Hunter sees that she's a vampire now she won't want nothing to do with her. Hunter will never challenge you Freia. I know you fear being alone. But all Hunter has ever wanted was to be a family. That's all she wants."

I didn't say anything.

Brianna had told me the same thing not to long ago. I have tried hard to keep the truth away from Hunter. Once father and mother had passed I had shunned Hunter and all the other omegas that surrounded us. I made rumor that Omegas where weak, useless pests that need to be delt with. And it worked. I became Leader of our pack when I was 8 years old. It's been 7 years sense I started that rumor about the omegas. But Judah is right.

I fear being alone.

I felt so cold and empty when I had watch Brianna die. I was ready to die myself, Briannas child was the only thing that kept me from ending it all.

Judah is right though. I need Hunters help. Like it or not I have to find her and train her. I have to tell her the truth.

"Fine. I'll go find Hunter."

"She's not far from the village. She's actually near the second water stream just a few miles away. I could come with you."

"No. I need to face Hunter myself. Once she figures out the truth there's no telling what she will do."
