Chapter 36

Indigo POV 2015
As I led Ava to Kenna's house I begin to grow worried. My memories of Brianna where changing. There either changing or I just don't remember that much of our past. Either way I'm ready to go get Brianna back.

Walking into Kenna's house I see Kuro setting up a strange circle with a star inside of it.

"Alright that should be it. Now Ava I'll be able to send you back into the era Briannas in but there's no telling how long you will be able to stay. It's mainly up to you. I'm not sure how your power works."

"I- I don't know much about it either. When I returned back to my own time I was on the brink of death. Aren't you able to summon my back once I have my daughter?" Ava spoke nervously.

"I can. But if I do that there will be a time limit. And who ever you want to bring back must be the one touching you. Do you understand?"

"I understand. Now let's go Ava. Who knows what kind of trouble Brianna has gotten herself into. How much time do we have?"

"I can give you three days at least. However Indigo. You can't go. It has to be just Ava."

"What?! But why?!"

"It's hard to explain. But please be patient. I'm sure Ava can take care of herself. Now Ava I want you to step into the circle and think about Brianna. Picture her in your mind. Can you do that?"

I was pissed. I wanted to go get Brianna! This wasn't fair! However as I saw the red circle begin to glow I lunged at Ava only to be stopped by an UNKOWN invisible force.

"Let me go!" A bright light surrounded the room making me squeeze my eyes shut.

Ava was gone.

Falling to the ground as I grit my teeth I begin to feel useless.

All of a sudden I get a flashback of an old memory making tears brim my vision as I dig my nails into the wooden floor underneath me.

"You should have let me go with her." Now because I couldn't go with her I will never see Brianna again.

Freia's POV
They where coming. I could sense everyone's uneasiness as I spoke.

"Be strong. Don't fight unless I say so. I will try to reason with her. Also, Brianna is it remain alive. She is my mate. Even if she is now a vampire." I could hear mumbling all around me.

Because of me my pack has grown to hate vampires. Either way if I could just convince Liv.... I stop thinking as I see her approach from afar.

"Liv. Please let's not fight. We do not need the blood shed today."

"Heh. You think I'm going to just let you get away after what you did to Ava? Your sadly mistaken."

"For the last time. I didn't kill her."

"She was gone. And there was blood on your shirt!"

"A rogue attacked her! Yes it was her blood but I didn't kill her I tried protecting her from the wild beast which is when she disappeared! Please listen to reason!"

"Your lying. Ava would never leave me! I had planned on having Brianna kill you. But as it would seem someone didn't heed my warning."

I watch in horror as Liv sunk her hand inside of Briannas chest. The pained look in her blue eyes brought great fear inside of me.

"STOP!" Rushing towards them I was stopped by a bright light taking me aback as I covered my eyes. As the light dimmed I saw a girl with familiar grey blue eyes and light brown hair. She was a little bit older then the last time I saw her but she still looked good. And there was no doubt in my mind. That women right there was Ava.

She looked confused at first until her eyes landed on me. She looked surprised.

"Freia?"

Before I could respond Liv spoke.

"A-Ava? Is that you?"

"It is." Ava said quietly. Her eyes immediately landed on Brianna's who was currently struggling to get free.

"M-Mom? H-How are you here?" Brianna spoke with a small quiver in her voice.

"It's a long story."

I watched Ava walk towards Liv with a nervous look on her face.

"Livy. Please let go of Brianna, your killing our daughter."

What? There's no way. How could Brianna be Liv's daughter? Unless she's like me... I watched her immediately pull out her hand as she looked upset and on the verge of tears.

"Our? But how? I thought my kind couldn't-"

"I thought so to. But after a week or so of being home, I discovered that I was pregnant. There was no doubt in my mind that it was yours. I don't know how but it happened. Brianna is your daughter."

Looking towards Brianna she looked just as shocked. But seeing her stand by Liv's side I could see it.

"Why did you leave me? You promised me to always stay by my side." Liv spoke.

"I know. It was unexpected. After I had gotten attacked something inside of me flipped. The last thing I saw was Freia rushing towards my aid before everything went white. I am sorry to have hurt your feelings. But this power that I have, I cannot control it. Which is why for the last time I must say goodbye. I only came here to retrieve my daughter."

"SHE'S MY DAUGHTER TO! You can't just take her away from me!" Liv yelled as she pulled Brianna into her arms.

Funny, since she was just about to kill her just seconds ago. But still. There was no way I was going to let Brianna out of my sight again.

If she thinks she's going to take her away she's sadly mistaken.

"I'm sorry Livy but I must go. This time isn't my own and it's not Brianna's."

I watched intently as the ground underneath Ava begin to glow. Whatever was happening I didn't care, all I knew was that Brianna was not going to leave me again!

Rushing forward I could hear Ava speak as I grasped her upper arm tightly.

"You will always be in my heart Liv."

Everything around me went white. And then silence....
