A blonde man from Earth sets foot on OA for the very first time. He looks at the fallen corpses. He knew this was going to happen, he keeps his will strong. Fire Pits Rise from a distance. He flies towards them. There is nothing but ruins. Ruins of the most powerful intergalactic force in the universe. He scans the area.

" Two lanterns detected alive. Sodam Yat, sector 1760. Hal Jordan, sector 2814. Planet OA's core is collapsing. It cannot withstand the apokoliptian terraforming technology. Too harsh for the environment. It would've been advisable to terminate the process but at this point of time, it's recommended to evacuate the planet immediately. Will powered green lantern rings cannot withstand apokoliptian technology. Evacuate the planet immediately." The lantern shaped ring on his wrist reported.
The voice coming out of the ring seemed to be of a female human (Carla Gugino) and yet, it seemed robotic and other worldly.

"My ring is far more powerful than a common lantern ring,Jade" The man replied. He was around 90 years old but it's true what they say about the lanterns, they can give their life but not their will.

"Incorrect, Sir. Your ring, even though powered from your own Will unlike the other lanterns, it CAN survive without the Central Power Battery and is equally powerful to one, it still has an Oan origin. The Rings of all the corps are forged out of the Oan element Oreon while your Ring, this ring, which is forged by you from your lantern, is forged out of the central Power battery itself." Replied Jade.

"Impossible. But whatever it maybe, my priority at the moment is to evacuate the remaining lanterns to a safe place. Give me the co-ordinates to these lanterns and Contact Mogo"

"Affirmative"

Jade made contact with the two active lantern rings on the planet. Sodam Yat's ring was nearby and the connection was strong. She immediately flew The Caped Lantern to Sodam Yat.
"Ring, Activate the ION. Commence safety protocol. Evacuate Lantern Sodam Yat to Mogo"

At first, the ring did not respond. It scanned the voice of command. Once it recognised the voice, it responded by "affirmative". In moments, lantern Sodam Yat was out of OA.

"Jade, What about Hal, Hal Jordan Of Earth?"

"Hal Jordan of Earth, Sector 2814, Located near the Central Power Battery. Ring connection is weak. Approach not recommended."

"No Jade, it's necessary"

He flew Towards the Central Power Battery. It was near the fire pits and seemed to be the most ruined among the entire planet. Around a hundred Lantern Corpses lying down the battery. The rings were long gone out world to search for sentinel replacements. From quite a distance, between the corpses, it seemed to appear like a broken weak Aircraft Construct.

"Hal Jordan" He whispered.

He flew towards him. There he saw the Giant Central Power Battery. Destroyed.

"Guy..... Guy Gardener. Find... Him...." A slow voice whispered. It came out of Hal's mouth. He was trying to communicate with Green Lantern Guy Gardener Via his ring which seemed to have broken.

"Lay still. We are gonna get you out of here, Okay? " The Scarlet Lantern Promised.

"It's... Too... Late.... Darks...seid... Has it. " Hal Whispered. His vision still seemed blurry because of the injury. "Where... is Guy ...Gardener? "

"Not here" The man assured.

"I know... You... Allaa... n.. Sccott" replied Hal. How could he not have recognized his mentor? The Wise Alan Scott. Lost Legend of the Justice Society of America.
"And I know you, Hal Jordan. Now remain still so I can evacuate both of us from here" replied Alan Scott. His voice seemed to be very calm. It was was.

"It's ...too late... Save ...The Battery.. It's.. Our.. Last.. Hope..." These came out to be the last words of The Hal Jordan. A life full of Will, ended Painfully.

Alan Scott sighed in disbelief. He could've saved him, he thought. But it was no time for failures. It was important to save the battery. But how? It had already been destroyed. He flew very close to it to examine it. The battery seemed to hold something very precious, apart from the Source of Will of course.
"Jade, scan the battery" He commanded.

"Battery working at 12% efficiency. Majority of The will being accumulated at the moment seems to come from Mogo. Presence of remains of Foreign Element X detected. But the Element seems to be have been stolen, sir"

"What element? Where did it originate from? Where is it now?"

"A motherbox, sir. Element seems to have been originated from New Genesis, A world far beyond the reach of time and space. Current location of the Element, detecting. detection status: Negative"

"And where is New Genesis?"

"Destroyed, sir."

Alan Nodded. "from what I know of a motherbox, it can open boomtubes anywhere in the universe. Tell me Jade, if I tap my ring with the battery and the remains of element X, will I be able to open a boomtube? "

"Affirmative. But since these are only the remains, I'm afraid There can't be a two-way journey"

"There's no reason for me to return either, Jade. Send a distress signal to the League. Warn them. Darkseid is coming. And Let's go"

"Where to, sir?"

"Connecting Will Power to Element X. Location : Origin. Confirmed"

A very powerful green light came out of Alan's Ring while it made connection with the central Power Battery and the Element X. And then they were gone. And everything turned dark.
