Rain

Diana and Akko were pretty good friends, they hung out in the same group and always sat next to each other. Everyone in their friend group knew that what they had was a lot more of a friend ship but that came into light on one dark and stormy night

Diana:
I was sitting in my dining room reading the paper when I heard a very quick knock on the door, this was very surprising seeing as it was raining very heavily. I walked up to the window and saw it was Atsuko, I hurried to let her in.

Akko:

I knocked on Diana's door hoping she would be home, not a minute later she opened the door and hurried me in. Diana gave me a  large towel, she turned up the heat and sat me on the couch. "Akko what are you doing here, it was pouring rain! You could've caught a cold!" Diana yelled at me, I couldn't help but smile at the use of my nickname.

She walked out of the room and I followed her to the kitchen, I sat down as she heated up some dinner and tea for the two of us. this has become something akin to a regular for us. Diana put down the plates and cups and I started eating.

When we finished we walked over to the living room and put on a show, Diana put a blanket around us and I subconsciously cuddled into her.

Diana:
We walked into the living room and I put on a show, I put a blanket around Akko and I and I couldn't help but notice how she snuggled deeper into me. Akko was looking at the show but I couldn't help but stare at how the light hit her face and how her hair was kind of crazy.

We finished a few episodes but the rain showed no sign of dying down any time soon. "Let's watch a horror movie! I remember last time we had a movie night you mentioned you loved these" it was that amazing attention that made me fall in love with this girl. Love? Well that's new. "Are you sure? We don't have to watch a horror movie I know how you get scared sometimes." "It's all good!"

We put on a horror movie called the Tenant and I couldn't help but sneak in a couple glances at her every now and then. By the end of the Movie Akko was basically on top of me fast asleep and I decided To try to sleep too, I didn't have much success but how could I have? The most beautiful girl in the world is quite literally on top of me.
Akko:
I slowly stirred awake only to realize that I was literally on top of a fast asleep Diana. Well...I don't want to move. I just lay back down and try to go back to sleep breathing in the blondes scent of vanilla and lavender. I could get used to falling asleep next to the most charming human being ever to walk Earth every night.

Diana:
I woke up to a slight pressure on my stomach. Akko. Wow, how is she still so pretty when she's asleep? I don't want to wake her... it is Saturday so I'll just sit here a little longer. "Mhhhm" I heard her moan. The lights were off and everything was pitch black. "Di? Where are we?" She asked "we are.... on my couch?"

Akko:
"We are.... on my couch?" I look around and realize that I am laying on Diana. Shit. "Diana I am so sorry I didn't. Mean to fall asleep, it's just that I was tired and you were extremely comfortable and it was warm an-" "Akko it's fine,really. I actually kind of enjoyed it..." She mumbled the last part but i still heard it, I start feeling my face start to heat up.

Hearing her say that made me immediately relax back into her. It felt nice. "Akko would you like me to put something on the television?" "Oh yea! Spongebob" I could still hear the sleep in her voice. She put on the program and put down the remote. I look at the clock and see that it is 2:47.I could feel her looking at me but continued watching the show. "Akko" "hmm?" I looked at her and immediately felt something on my lips. Diana. Diana is kissing me. She started to pull back so I quickly started to kiss her back.

Diana:
Akko turns to look at me and without thinking I kiss her. Well of course this is what I've been thinking about for months but I never thought I would be the one to initiate something like this. Oh. She's not kissing me back. Maybe this was the wrong idea, I shouldn't have done this. I started to pull away when I feel her kiss me back.

Akko was the first to pull away. "...wow. That was..." "wow" "exactly" we look at each other for a couple seconds. "So... Diana" "Akko"

Akko:
Diana just kissed me. Diana Cavendish just kissed me, this might just be the best day of my life. I should ask her to be my girlfriend. Is that too soon? "Diana would you like to go on a date wi-" "yes" "you sure you don't need to th-" "no" "are you sur-" "yes" I kissed her again.
