Roomates II

Hello, this is gonna start the day of the last segment (idk, chapter?) but it's late afternoon/early night.

Akko:

"Hey, Dia" "Yes?" "You wanna go watch the sun set on the roof? It's almost time" "of course." I grab a blanket and Diana's hand "let's go" "your wish is my command" she says slipping on some shoes, I can feel her hand tighten around mine when she almost falls putting on her shoe with one hand. I try to let go to give her both her hands but she doesn't loosen her grip on my hand. Diana grabs a couple of water bottles and we are out the door.

We walk up the stairs to the top and open the door to the opening. We lay the blanket on the ground and she slightly leans on me. "Woah! Look at that star- and that one! That's Algol. Oh and that one's  Vega."  I point out the different stars and their names. I can feel Diana's eyes on me and my voice slows to a stop.

Diana:

Akko starts listing off the different stars and I can tell she really likes astronomy. I can't help but look at her instead of the stars and she notices. "Uhm - sorry I kinda get carried away with stars, I just think they're cool" oh no she thinks I didn't like it " oh no, I was just wondering how you know all this, I think it's neat that you know so much about astronomy, I was actually into astronomy for a while and did a lot of research on it."

"Oh! What's your favorite star? Mines definitely Achernar but also- Arcturus but that's probably because of the seven words." "I recall my favorite being Bellatrix but y'know because of Bellatrix. I also liked Arcturus." We sit there talking about our favorite stars and different parts of the galaxies pondering the mysteries of the universe.

"Oh, it's 4, we should probably head back." Akko says checking her phone. I'm a little disappointed that we have to separate but it had to happen at some point. "Okay, I will fold up the blanket, please pick up the bottles." She does so and we head up to our bedroom.

"Hey wanna watch a movie?" I cringe at the informal words I used instead of my normal speach"Sure, what did you have in mind?" She says after looking at me for a second. "Maybe a horror movie. After we change of course." "Yea that works"

Akko:

"Hey wanna watch a movie?" Diana says like a normal human being instead of her normal robot way. Odd. "Sure what did you have in mind?" " maybe a horror movie. After we change of course." Of course she changes back into her robot self, I mean I love her but I hate that she feels like she has to be all proper all the time. "Yea that works"

Diana changes in the room and I change in the bathroom. I finish changing into some short running shorts and a hoodie covering them and socks going to the middle of my calf. I forget that Diana is changing and don't knock before opening the door to a Diana wearing just shorts and a bra. Oh no she's hot underneath all of the fancy clothes too. I quickly close the door without her noticing but not quick enough for the image was already imprinted in my mind forever.

After a few moments I knock on the door and she tells me I can come in. When I look at her all I can think of is her standing there.
"Ok so what movie would you like to watch?" "I don't know I don't really watch a lot of horror. What were you thinkin?" "I don't know. Maybe American psycho? I haven't watch it in a while" "that's cool. Put it on and I'll prep the couch."

I don't like horror movies but I'm fine if Diana wants to watch one. I mean how scary could it be?

Diana:

As the movie progresses I can feel Akko get closer and closer to me. " we can turn it off if you would like" "nah it's not a problem" she says as if it were nothing and I almost believed her if it wasn't for her arms clawing into me with all of her strength. 

The movie finishes around one in the morning when the movie ends so we decide to call it a night getting into our respected beds.

About twenty minutes of me sleeping I open my eyes to see Akko next to me crouched on the ground softly tapping my arm "can I sleep in your bed with you?"wow she was really that scared. "Mhmmm" I nod my head and apparently that's enough for the brunette to get into the twin bed with me. Akko cuddles into me and we're both out within five minutes.

I wake up with my face on Akkos' shoulder with her her arms around me. One of my arms under her and the other around her waist. I do not  wish to wake her up, nor do I want to move from her grasp so I settle back in and go back to sleep.

Akko:

I wake up to Diana's soft snores and the warmth of my arms around Diana and her head snuggled into my neck, arms around my body. "Dia?" I whisper almost not wanting to weak her up "Dia?" I say again this time provoking her eyes on mine "hey Akko. What time is it?" Woah. She totally just spoke super casually.

"Idk...9ish?" "Ok, thank you. I was going to shower and go get some breakfast before they close. Would you like to join me?" For a split second I almost think she's inviting me to the shower before realizing she wants me to come to breakfast. "Uh, yea cool Ima get dressed then. I can't be wearing pajamas with you when you look like an absolute goddess I have to look at least a little bit presentable " I say before realizing what I said "you always look like a goddess even with your hair all crazy like it is now." I blush " you could go down there with me the way you are right now with me wearing my regular clothes and you would still be the prettiest girl in the room." She continues "man who knew Diana Cavendish could be such a flirt?" I say jokingly "only for you" she says only for her own ears but I over hear. What? WAIT. WHAT. does Diana like me? "Ok, now I am going to take a shower, I will be out in about 20 minutes and then we can go down stairs to grab some food." She says grabbing her bag and going into the bathroom.

Diana:

I grab my bag and rush into the bathroom. Fuck. I totally just flirted with Akko. And I totally just woke up WITH ATSUKO KAGARI. Like what? Dude I'm Fuckin' stoked. I should probably take that shower now.

After the shower I change into something more normal- not my school uniform. I change into a black skirt, some black suspenders, a red graphic tee. I put on some doc martins and some light make up and walk out of the bathroom.

Akko is wearing some light blue cuffed jeans and a colourful cropped sweater, a backwards hat and some makeup.  "Akko are you ready to go?" Akko looks at me for a second. Oh wow she is straight up checking me out and not being subtle at all"Oh yea I'm ready just give me a sec" "okay no problem" I lean down to retie my shoelaces.

Akko:

"Akko are you ready to go?"I turn around to see Diana looking absolutely gorgeous. Wow what have I done to be blessed with such a beautiful sight? To be able to breath the same air as this goddess. "Uh- yea I'm ready just- yea just give me a sec" " okay no problem" she goes to tie her shoes and I grab my phone and wallet.

"Let's roll" we head out the door and I lock it. We head downstairs with like 45 minutes until the end of breakfast at 10:30. We both grab our meals and settle into peaceful conversation.

"So what are you doing today Dia?" "Well, I don't have anything planned I will probably just read or go on a walk unless you had a better idea." "I don't know, maybe we should go to a cafe and maybe walk around a bit. Oh! We should go to the movies." "That sounds good" "oh maybe we should invite our friends, maybe we could all go to the movies"

I swear Diana almost looked upset when I asked if we should invite our friends to join us. Maybe she wanted to just hang out. One on one styles. Maybe it's a date. Oh my god was this supposed to be a date? Wait did I just ask to invite our friends on a date? With Diana?

"On the other hand maybe we should just hang out with the two of us." "Oh cool, maybe we could skateboard around? I brought my skateboard and I bet we can find a skateboard." "I don't really know how to skateboard" "well I could teach you" Diana looks really excited to teach me to skateboard "sounds like a date." She blushed. Wait is this actually a date?  Should I get her flowers? Ima get her flowers.

"Okay, I have to go out for a bit but I'll pick you up in a hour from our room?" "Sounds lovely." "Okay Coolio" I shoot finger guns at her. Beatrix im a gay disaster.
