TIME TRAVEL

Hung gives Yixiang a hug:

- Yixiang, I'm the first to bring you happiness, but there will be the second, the third, and many more people to come. You deserve to be happy, and you will feel it soon, I promise.

Yixiang doesn't know how to react. He knows that once Hung sets foot on the Japanese land, they might never see each other again. 

Yixiang's panicked.

But what can he do now? 

Hung goes around, saying goodbye to the Dutch crewmen, wishing them a new year full of success and happiness. Just some more minutes, the ship will be docked into the port. When he sees Yixiang, Hung runs there to give him a hug. 

- Yixiang, please have a happy life! 

They hold each other tightly for a while and only let the other go when it's time for Hung to get off.

Yixiang grabs Hung's hand and his voice is full of determination. 

- Hanbin, I will go with you. 

With Yixiang's help, everything will be so much easier. But Hung cannot be that selfish. K's father is a Shogu Daimyo, no one knows how he would react when he knows Yixiang betrays him and even brings there a guy he surely doesn't want to meet. 

- No, stay here, please. 

- Did you tell me to get off the ship to look for joy? My joy is here in Japan, why am I going back to Dai Viet then? 

- It's really dangerous, I don't want you to go there with me. 

- Hanbin ah, don't you find it weird? Things I tried to tell you the other night on the ship, you didn't even consider them. And now you're trying to convince me with the same words? I've made up my mind, I will follow you no matter what. I want to protect my source of happiness. Just that...

- Just that?

- Your legs are a bit short. Don't walk too slowly, mine will get sore quickly if I try to keep the same pace with you, haha haha. 

It's good that Yixiang can keep his sassiness in such a circumstance. Hung really doesn't want to take advantage of his love, but he has no choice now. Well, he can only try his best to make sure both of them can get out safely.  

So Hung and Yixiang get off, starting their risky adventure. Yixiang went to K's house earlier, so he knows his way around. With his basic Japanese and the ID card as a member of the East India Company, he can travel around without any hassle.

- Hey, it's their castle.

Hung looks up, it's a typical ancient Japanese castle but a quick look can already tell their family is extremely rich. 

- Let's go there then. I will tell them that I have some of K's stuff. Do you have any valuable items so they would trust us? 

- No. Ah yes, I have his brother's Kimono that I wore to the pub that night. 

- Awesome, don't let them know you know him, ok? 

Yixiang and Hung come to the main gate. Something is happening there, everyone seems to be in a rush. When Yixiang sees K's father, he quickly bows down to give him a greeting.

- Dear Shogu Daimyo, I'm working for the East India Company and we met the other night. Your son left some of his clothes on our ship so I'm here today to return them to him.

K's father immediately snatches the clothes from Yixiang's hands, shouting:

- It's you? Are you involved in any way? Did you help him escape?
