THE PLAN OF MNET

Upon arriving, Taki runs into Hanbin's lap. Taki is closest to Niki, they are of the same age, and have been friends for long. Taki considers K as a big brother and it's just sweet to have K when his parents are far away from him. But Hanbin is a special case. Hanbin is almost as old as K, but he can blend in really well with the minors. Hanbin is always cheerful and happy, but he's also really attentive when it comes to people's feelings. He's such a soft but tough hyung, which makes Taki wonder what is the reason for that duality.

- Hanbin hyung, have you ever felt sad?

Of course Hung does. Pretty much actually. How can he not feel downhearted when K has no clue about him? And also, since the time he signed on that contract, it's no longer just about finding K. Hung is now the first Vietnamese trainee that stands a chance to debut. Many people out there are having high hopes for him and the last thing Hung wants to do is to make those who care about him sad. If tears come to Hung's eyes, smiles might leave his supporters' lips. And for that reason, Hung promises to himself to be their sunshine, their Vitamin, their happy pill.

- Why? Do I look sad?

- Ah nope, I'm just a bit scared of the adults' world. Isn't it complicated? Like, K hyung, he's actually soft on the inside but he has to act tough on the outside. He sets high expectations for himself, so whenever he cannot achieve them, he easily feels down. I just hope you can get to Iland and be his friend. I'm sure he will like you as your bright smile can cheer up his gloomy days.

- Grown-ups are just weird. We act as if we were capable of handling everything on our own, but in fact, we are not. Next time, when you are in Iland, just give him more hugs. He loves hugs!

- Why do you know that?

- Oh, the producers once said his shoulder is a bit stiff so I think hugging will help with those muscles, you know...

Ohhhh, thanks God that Hung can quickly comes up with that lame reason. Hung should really be more careful not to spill the beans.

- Then you need to be there for him. You love hugging the most, haha.

But when that time comes, will Hung be comfortable enough to give K a hug? A totally innocent one?

It has been a bit boring recently for Nicholas. It is understandable that people here are extremely competitive, but the atmosphere is a bit too much to handle. His mission has been completed. He should really give himself a vote out to be there with Hanbin.

Studies have found out that falling in love makes people less smart. And Nicholas seems to be a perfect example. Is he aware that Hanbin might be able to get to Iland to replace him?

But, as said, luck seems to be on his side this life. Because Mnet doesn't have any plan to let Hanbin reunite with K!

2 hours ago, in Mnet's meeting room

- The first test is finally over and we will need to send 6 Grounders to Iland. It's time to seriously talk about Hanbin and K.

- Hanbin is better than what we expected. As a street dancer, he's quick to learn the moves and he's got the ability to lead. Not to mention that he also has singing potential. He's like Heesung of the Ground!

- Didn't you forget the reason he's here? He's looking for K! And K is right in Iland, waiting for his debut later this year. What happens when the public knows about their story? We have a girl group to debut next year and I want no risks, at all!

- But can we justify not choosing him tho?

- You really don't know how a survival show works, do you? Basically, the whole purpose of the show is to introduce our pre-planned debut line and make sure that the audience learns about them and loves them. Hanbin is not gonna debut with them, don't let him steal the spotlight. Reduce his screentime, focus on his weaknesses, such as his broken Korean. Or if possible, do some evil editing.

- Evil editing? That doesn't seem so doable. But we've got what you mean, and we won't let you down!
