The nightmare seemed to begin like any other, a dark blank world filled with nothing but misery and fear as it felt ready to pull him into a world of distorted visions. He would normally just lay there, hoping for anyone to get him out, yet none to come, it was as If this place made him lose all links to his home and world, leaving him alone in his internal fear and misery. He hated it, but what could he do besides let it pass in his exhaustion?

It felt oddly damp, probably because of the murky tears he spilled through the day, instead of laying down as usual, he lifted himself up to walk through what felt like a swamp of dread.

Slowly and slowly it would seem to sink him deeper into the ground, a quiet sloshing that was like mud but also like quicksand that wanted to swallow up and drown him.

Sinking him farther he could only panic, making him dive below into the black water. The chocking feeling that came with it as a storm and thunder like if below the deep seas revealed images he would rather much forget.

It was torture as the deeper he sank the more these feeling compressed tighter and tighter against him, the light of images flooding his brain and sight as he tried to breathe

He was sure he'd drown, end it all. The sinking continued however and his eyes awake even as he let go of breath, lungs feeling of fluid as his eyes opened and shut continuously, a dread over and over.

Suddenly a hand would reach down to him and pull him up. A jolt as he quickly gasped through the echoed scape of air, looking around.

"S-Slinky?,," He would cough quietly as he took in breath.

"'I'm sorry, but I am not who you seek" Another voice would whisper, one of cool soft tongue, a being of white gown yet black, almost unnoticeable face in the dark void.

"Oh great,, who are you?" Sebastian would mutter a bit annoyed, grateful for a few bits of sleep but angry nonetheless as the unusual wouldn't cease.

"It is not important, but if useful you may call me Desire." They would say, bowing lightly. "I've come to meet you who is blind and panicked, needing aid."

"Well thanks for keeping me asleep but I don't need any help thank you." Sebastian spat as he got up, ringing his clothes as he still felt wet despite this dream. "I can handle myself"

"Your soul says otherwise " they would respond, turning to face them directly.

"Well it's wrong, so leave me be." He would say as he began to walk away to lie in peace.

"...Would you like to see him again?" The being suddenly asked, Sebastian turning to them abruptly. "I bet he can give you the answers.."

"What do you mean see him again?..." Sebastian asked in what was a bit of shock

"The being who gave you your rebirth" They would say.

"..H-How?.. He's been long gone.. Helios told me so." They replied baffled as they walked back slightly to them, full of disbelief that he was still alive.

"The faint traces of his gift says otherwise" They would respond as they seemingly pulled out an image of his soul, alit with orange and teal, but shockingly, wisps of light blue and gold spiraling outside it. "This isn't yours, and it's clearly not faded much" they would say as the other looked to it, mesmerized and shocked of the idea Erick could still be alive.

"So,, you wish to see him again?.." they responded again, this time holding their hand out as if wanting to take a deal or guide them.

"I...I.." He would stutter, still baffled but also wanting urgently answers from the one being he could trust, and if he was alive he wanted the truth. "Yes.. I want this nightmare to go away.. I want to know what the deal is with all this.."

"Very well, once you awaken, follow the white glow, of misty steps I shall leave behind. It shall lead you to the one you seek." They murmured, pulling them along gently until their was nothing but white.

and he woke up
