Sebastian continued to run, not looking back as he traveled far through the city to a part that was somewhat familiar, though most alleys and hideaway's did. Once out of breath he found some box to hide away from it all. Wiping away the multicolored blood off his face as he sighed with a tremble.
What did Helios mean he couldn't save him? What was that bullsh*t? Weren't they supposed to be gods or something?
He hissed a bit as the scar burned, not realizing how bad it was. Looking to his jacket he had minor tears, but nothing that cut at his skin, lucky his jacket was oversized. He just tried to smile with relief, but he couldn't be relieved.
What had Erick become? What was even going on in the first place?
He wasn't even that sad now.
He was angry.
What was all this.. Why didn't Erick tell him, Why didn't anyone tell him?
He twitched, itching at his scars as he breathed shakily. Trying to process everything with what little time he probably had to try and be calm.
It was then when his mind began to ring, just fury and sadness, his mind couldn't calm down. Getting up he couldn't help but yell as he summoned his knifes, now more makeshift into claws as he slashed at the walls, sobbing as a mask of white seemed to sculpt on his face. His screams ringing in the night as he tried ever so to calm down only to be met with bitterness in his soul.
He just wanted answers, he wanted to know why this happened to him, why this all happened.
"Sebastian?"
A voice was heard, causing the other to flinch for a second, only to quickly hurl themselves at the other without a second thought, striking them and almost killing the other if it wasn't for their transparent body.
"Um.. sorry?..." The other replied, half panicked have relieved as they moved past the hand, exhaling deeply with a wince as they touched their chest going to a more solid look.
It took a moment for Sebastian to get to his senses, wincing back as he held his head to hold back a hiss as he looked up to the other, mask dissipating, almost melting off.
"Nebs? What are you doing here?" Sebastian replied softly, still shaken a bit as he looked toward the smaller blue figure.
"On my daily- well nightly walk. Shawn is watching a movie and I needed to breathe." Nebula replied as he looked to the other,. "Are you alright? did something happen with E?"
"..N-No.. Nothings.. wrong" Sebastian would quickly reply as he stepped back.
"You sure?.. Shawn and the others have been worried since you haven't come back these past few days."
"Yes.. Maybe.. I..." Sebastian could only stutter before the other walked up to him, gently stroking the other's head which made them wince back.
"You don't need to say anything if you don't feel like it. It's alright.."
They huffed, trembling a bit before breathing out.
"I don't know... Just things are complicated and I don't know what to do..."
"Has this got something to do with E?" Nebula responded softly, looking as the other twitched about at the response.
"Yes.. kind of.."
"Do you need help?.. Should I tell Shawn and the others?"
Sebastian huffed softly, trying to think as the other spoke out. His ears twitched before murmuring. "N-No, none of you need to get involved with me."
"But.. but maybe I do need help." Something sparked in his head as he looked around for a brief moment before looking to Nebula.
"Look Nebs."
"Yes?.."
"Please tell the others I'm fine, I'll be back in a few days probably. I just need to resolve something."
"I-okay." Nebs responded softly with a Nod, and with that Sebastian smiled briefly before walking off at first and then sprinting up to jump onto the rooftops.
"If their anywhere they have to appear here.." Sebastian murmured as he walked across the steps carefully looking over his shoulder as he hopped around, looking for something. This search would go on for a while as the moon peaked up until the sky.
Sebastian huffed annoyed before sitting down on the edge of one of the higher building. Catching some breath as he looked to the night sky.
Kinda like when he gave me that bracelet. He thought, pulling it out to look at it. The different colors of crystals embedded into it and the inside his name etched into it with little magic symbols and charms. He had given this to him a few years ago, this charm that helped him open doors and channel his magic better. He let out a shaky sigh, not wanting to cry anymore as he put it away.
A few moment would pass before he heard the wind whoosh behind him, turning around quickly to confront however was sent to retrieve him this time.
It was Holly. Dressed In what was military gear, here gaze one of seriousness and anger, mellowing as they looked each other in the eyes, but still filled with strict determination.
"Sebastian. It's time to return back. Its over." They said to the other, more cold in tone as the extended their hand. Their aura clear with anger yet also controlled somehow, as if not to hurt him and his sensitivity to it, he knew this was serious.
"Okay. Fine. I'll go, on one condition however." Sebastian retorted to them, clearly unsure of the other yet they knew they couldn't fight them.
"Maybe, what is your request?" Holly said as they paced forward to them.
"No more secrets. I'm not a child. I want to know everything, what I am, why I'm here, what happened to Erick. Everything." He said back in the best serious tone he could make to the other.
"Are you sure? Are you actually ready to know the truth? You won't run away this time?"
"I promise. No more running away." Sebastian replied, though he hated it, he agreed.
"Very well, I'll fulfill your request." Holly says as the grab the others hand and shake it. With that they pull a crystal of white down and smash it on the ground beside them, opening a large portal with no image of the other side.
"Let's go." They say as they enter, Sebastian feeling ready for what to come.
