I'm in my hotel room im glad i have help this is a little more complicated than i thought it would be i mean i don't have many friends so mays brother is here with me helping me get ready and his wife is helping may get her hair and makeup done then get into her dress "i know we don't know each other well but you make may happy and if shes happy im happy and i know she probably asked you to ask me but thank you for asking me to be a groomsman" Derek mays brother said "actually she didn't ask me i was the one to bring it up with her i knew it would mean a lot to her plus you are family now i want to get to know you more i mean you are going to be my brother in law" i said with a laugh in my voice i fixed my tie and he handed me my jacket "well it's time to go downstairs and get you married" Derek said with a light laugh i smiled and grabbed the ring and went downstairs i walked down the aisle to my spot i looked to the seats they were mostly empty seeing we don't have lots of friends especially me most of the people here are her family and cousins and some acquaintances of ours i don't have any family other than my dad and he doesn't deserve to be here suddenly the music starts to play and i see mays brother and his wife walk down ad take their spots and then may walks down her dress is beautiful on her it has long lace sleeves and does down to the floor with a little train in the back and a thick belt around her waist but the rest of the dress was flowy it looked beautiful on her my eyes were trained on her and i shifted nervously from one foot to the other May finally reached the end of the aisle and i took her hand in mine and i looked lovingly into her eyes "today we have come together to witness the joining of these two lives. For them, out of the routine of ordinary life, the extraordinary has happened. They met each other, fell in love and are finalizing it with their wedding. A good marriage must be created. It is never being too old to hold hands. It's remembering to say ''I love you every day and it is not just marrying the right person it's being the right partner." the pastor says "now for the vows" May and i look at each other for a moment then i start "May you are the love of my life we were two unlikely people who fell in love but when i saw you that day in the library i knew i was going to marry you one day you were so shy and flustered when we first met it was hard to get two words out of you i thought i blew my chance but Mrs. Parks comes walking by and says the days you are usually at the library and so i would change my schedule so i made sure i would run into you at the library so we could talk so i could get to know you and i will forever thank Mrs. Parks for pushing me to talk to you again and im sure shes yelling at us from the sky to just say i do already May you mean the world to me i will love and cherish you for as long as i would live and so on from there you are the light of my life" i finish speaking to see May tearing up "oh man how can i top that Oliver i love you so much i am so happy i opened up to you that you were able to break through my walls i had built up because i couldn't imagine my life without you you helped me do so much with my life much more than i thought i would ever be able to do you've completed my lifelong dream of making me a mom surprise" she said with a laugh everyone gasped and my eyes went wide and i squeezed her hands and i had the biggest smile on my face "well on that happy note Mayble Phoenix Bailey do you take Oliver Ethan James to be your husband?" the pastor said "i do" she said "Do you promise to love, honor, cherish and protect him, forsaking all others and holding only unto him?" the pastor said "I do" May said looking into my eyes "Oliver Ethan James do you take Mayble Phoenix Bailey to be your Wife?" the pastor said "I do" i said "Do you promise to love, honor, cherish and protect him/her, forsaking all others and holding only unto him/her?" he said "I do" i said with a smile "Wedding rings are an unbroken circle of love, signifying to all the union of this couple in marriage." he said "This ring is my sacred gift, with my promise that I will always love you, cherish you and honor you all the days of my life. And with this ring, I thee wed." And with this ring, I thee wed" i said and slipped the ring onto her finger "By the power vested in me, I now pronounce you husband and wife you may now kiss the bride" he said and i immediately tugged may forward and put her arms around my neck my arms around her waist and kissed her it was a passionate loving kiss "i now present to you Mr. Oliver James and Mrs. Mayble James" the pastor said our friends and family cheered for us as we walked back down the aisle now this time holding hands we walked to one of the back rooms "don't think i forgot about what you said in your vows"i said with a smirk ad walked over to her and put my hands around her waist "were you surprised i found out a couple days ago" may said 'oh i was surprised alright you caught me of my guard" i said "well you are always a few steps ahead of me i had to do something to catch you off guard" she said and i chuckled we stood there for a few seconds then we heard a knock on the door followed by "is the newly married couple decent" Jessica derek's wife said "yes you can come in" may said and i took my hands off her waist jessica came running in followed by derek jessica ran up to may and and said "oh my God i can't believe you are pregnant we are going to have to go shopping for clothes and baby stuff and well have to redo the upstairs house so there room for the baby" jessica rambled on derek just patted my back and said to take care of her "okay jessica lets leave the new couple be you know how much you hated it when people kept coming up to you on our wedding day" derek said and they waved bye on the way out the door i turned back to may and kneeled down on the ground and put my hand on her stomach and lifted her shirt so i could see her stomach i gave her belly a gentle kiss "i can't wait to meet you little one" i said "do you want a boy or girl" may said "i honestly don't care as long as he or she is happy and healthy" i said "i have an ultrasound in a couple weeks if you want to come and see the baby" she said "i would love to" i said and placed my hand on her stomach and kissed it one more time "i can't wait to meet you"
