You live in the part of my mind
Where my deepest fears seem to dwell
Where Ive captured every crease in your skin
Every voice crack within
Ive even memorised your smell
*
How daisy chains look in your braided hair
Above the mattress that we share
The way your eyes twinkle in the moonlight
Like the stars, but even they dont compare
*
But alike the stars, what we have
What we see, we have let go
You see, the stars that we see right now
Are a reflection of reality, long ago
*
So when you glance at me and I glance at you
Although our worlds may collide
Youre but a figment, a distant dream
Of my reality, deep inside
