sighs of the wise
strawberry ice cream
in vanilla disguise
*
under these peppermint skies
he watches through pistachio eyes
as his words have been twisted to
caramel lies
*
and I despise
the way that you call yourself allies
but don't use correct pronouns
as if it defies
*
laws of grammar, of physics
of stars and of gravity,
they're weak, they're snowflakes
when in actuality
*
your respect and morality
of my gender and sexuality
should not be normality
should not lead to fatality
*
what are you, gay?
if you stopped being sarcastic
you'd see instead of teasing Susie
you want her chapstick
*
shock; revelation
rainbows and cries
I don't understand
why you say your goodbyes
*
lemon bowties
sighs of the wise
I refuse to spread
your hatred and lies
