The pale boy jumped off of the plane and into the bright sun. Sure, he was jetlagged, but he was more excited to see his apartment. With his inheritance, he had enough to afford an apartment in Manhattan. Shouto grabbed his luggage and met up with his uber driver at the specified location. As they drove, his driver was more than happy to point out some of the most famous tourist spots. He made a point to visit them later, but for now he would enjoy the ride. "I'm Inasa by the way!" Todoroki smiled. "I'm Shouto." The large man grinned widely. "Well, welcome to New York City Shouto!" Once they reached his apartment and they exchanged numbers, Shouto inhaled as he stood in front of the building. He closed his eyes and smiled. This was his new beginning. As he reached for the door handle, he was met with the sound of running, and falling, then the door flew open. In the doorframe, stood a girl with skin the color of her Teak Wood veneer floors, and a messy bun, full of bright white hair. She wore a periwinkle, plaid crop top with black ripped jeans. Her eyes were honey golden, and full on energy as she smiled. "You must be my new housemate! It's nice to meet you! I'm Zodiac!" The girl, Zodiac, showed him upstairs to his flat, full of the same hardwood flooring that she had. All of his counters were grey and white marble, his favorite. The deep oak cabinets made a nice aesthetic along with the new appliances. Once they were done and Zodiac helped him move his furniture in, she got ready to leave. "If you need me, give me a shout okay?" Then she disappeared down the stairs.
Shouto flopped down on his bed as he stared at the 2 contacts in his phone. Zodiac and Inasa. He'd probably ask Zodiac to go sightseeing with him, since they found out they had a lot of similarities while they were moving. She was from Japan as well, but she ran away from home when she was 13. She also knew Inasa and his girlfriend, Camie, who she said she'd introduce tomorrow. Zodiac also knew 2 other people, Hanta Sero and Mezo Shouji, or better known as Scottie Six Arms. He was always busy, so he probably wouldn't meet him any time soon. Surprisingly,he was excited for tomorrow. The honking of cars sounded calming now. The back of his mind silently wondered how long he would be there but that didn't matter. For now, he would focus on where he was, and how lucky he was.
The next day, Shouto met Zodiac downstairs in a casual outfit. Ripped jeans, a bomber jacket around his waist, and a pale blue shirt. She was wearing a black crop hoodie with the word Fantastical written in a gold, spidery font. She wore a white high skirt with it, so it bounced with her. Her Converse high tops matched his own black and white Converse. Inasa was standing on the corner next to a blonde, who Shouto identified to be Camie. Once Camie heard Zodiac skipping, she beamed and tackle hugged Shouto. "Omg! I've heard so much about you!" Once Inasa managed to pry her off, they greeted, then went to go find Hanta. They found him by the ferry, holding tickets. "Hey guys, where've you-" Until he saw Shouto. Todoroki gulped thickly as his face flushed bright red. He remembered him. 2 months ago, he was the little black haired boy that he fell on. Sero's face went red as he too gulped, but said nothing. The other 3 looked between them, but decided that it was not the time to discuss it. Once they boarded the ferry, Sero and Todoroki sat to the side of Zodiac, who had her headphones in. "So..." Shouto started. "Hi?" The ravenette asked. After falling on him in such a skimpy outfit, and feeling the others boner against him, meeting him formally seemed awkward. Shouto turned away from him and looked at the Statue of Liberty in the distance.Hanta followed his gaze and sighed wistfully. "It's beautiful, isn't it?" Shouto glanced back at him, flashing a comforting smile. Hanta leaned forward to gently place his chin on his shoulder. "Sorry about that time." Todoroki murmured to him. "So am I, but," He said, catching the heterochromic boy's full attention," I still wanna get to know you so..." He turned Todoroki around to look at him and outstretched his hand. "Friends?" Shouto nodded and shook his hand. "Friends." Little did they know, Zodiac took a picture of the duo, gushing intensely.
"Boom!" The others in the group squinted at the meal presented. "What is this supposed to be again?" Inasa asked warily. Zodiac huffed. "They're ingredients to make sushi, fucktard. Not like a thick brained idiot like you would understand anyway." Camie snorted to hold in a laugh, but she still laughed anyway. "So, are you implying that we make sushi?"Shouto asked, his head tilted like a dog's. The white haired girl beamed. "At least one of you gets it!" In turn, they ended up making a mess in her kitchen instead of sushi, but they still had fun. Camie clasped her hands together. "Alright kids. Time to eat up this mess." Zodiac, being the crackhead that she is, slammed her face into the pile of rice, meat, seaweed, and vegetables. Inasa and Shouto locked eyes, before shrugging and deciding to follow suit. Camie and Sero quickly joined in on the festivities. Once they were done and lifted their heads from the mounds of misshapen food, it was only seconds before they all laughed at the mess that was their faces. In around 15 minutes, they cleaned it up and were sipping boba on Zodiac's couch, watching Hamilton. Soon a question was raised, but it was spoken as a whisper. Not a silent whisper to the point where it was not heard, but loud enough to be heard and not wake up everyone else. "Can I try yours, Hanta?" Said ravenette went red at the expression on Shouto's face. They only knew each other for a month but he was falling for him, hard. The split haired boy was looking too adorable for his own good. With his head on the raveonettes lap and the slighted bit of blush on his cheeks, he stared up into the other's dark eyes. Sero nodded. What he was about to do would probably crush their newfound friendship, but at the time, it didn't matter. With the straw up to his lips, Sero sipped a probable amount and held it in his mouth. Shouto turned around to look at him, this face perfectly in line with the others. Hanta connected their mouths, pouring the coconut boba into his mouth. The heterochromic boy's eyes widened, but he shook away his surprise as he began to swallow the drink, unknowingly kissing the other back. The liquid slid down the side of his mouth, making the scene ever so errotic. The rest of the liquid was quickly drained, and the two boys were making out, Shouto's face cradled within Hanta's palms. Oxygen, the needy little thing, forced them apart, a thin string of saliva connecting the panting duo. Although it wasn't said, both parties enjoyed the lip locking session, with the momentary eye contact sealing the deal. No words were said as they cuddled against each other in sleep's gentle embrace.
