Theo POV
Shai's hand feels so warm, i can smell the sweetness in the perfume she wears. I wish we were together...
Ruth's head rest on my shoulder. Weird, as i see Miles hugging a teddy bear.
"Do you want a drink honey?" Ruth asks me.
"Yeah could you get me beer baby? 6 beers i guess. For all of us."
"Okay baby." She smiles.
I hold Shai's hand tighter, i wish i tell her that i love her. I wish.
When Ruth come back with 7 beers on her hands, i pretend i was itching so i let go of Shai's hand. I didn't want Ruth see my hand tangling with Shai's
"One for me, one for you..." she shares the beers. We all say thank you
She rested her head on my shoulder again, a few minutes later she fell asleep. I see the clock, it says 11 pm.
"I better go, it's getting late." Kate whispers. "Bye, thank you guys."
Half of us already fallen asleep when the second movie was playing, only Miles, me and Shai are awake.
Miles got up and lifts Zoe bridalstyle to her room. Ruth is asleep on my left, hugging a pillow.
I look at Shai, she looks back at me. We stare at each other for a while, and then... i kiss her.
She is a little bit shocked at first
We let go after we heard Miles on the stairs.
"I saw that." Said Miles half whispering.
My eyes gotten wider
"Sshh!" I put my finger in front of my lips.
"Dont worry, i'm rooting for you guys." He answered. Thank god.
Shai wraps her arms on my stomach and then let them go after a while. She whispers, "im going to bed, you should carry Ruth to her room."
And then she left.
