The little girl stepped on the brown leaves making the crispy noise of it as she slowly approached the lonely boy sitting under the tree.

As she sat down next to the boy, she saw a single tear traveling down to his pale cheek.

The boy was crying yet his face doesn't show any emotion. Just blank.

"A-Are you upset?" The little girl tried her best to spoke up

"No." The boy sternly replied, still doesn't show any emotion but again, a single tear wet his cheeks

"Please stop crying..." The girl said, trying to comfort the boy

As the boy realized the wet substance in his cheek, he quickly used the sleeve of his old brown blazer to wiped off the tear.

"I'm not crying," The boy shrugged "Crying is for weak people, and i'm not weak!"

"It's okay to cry," The girl muttered in low voice, almost like a whisper but this was enough to the boy to hear what was the girl is saying

Instead of replying, the boy gave the girl a cold look causing the girl to gulped in fear.

A minutes of silence invaded the surroundings of the two, only the leaves falling down to the trees can be heard, the laugther of the children playing and the sound of the radio most of the staff we're listening too. The news from the radio was still the same. The war.

The girl felt uncomfortable for not doing anything to cheer up the boy so she thought of a song. A personal song that she made up herself. A personal song where she will sang to herself whenever she's upset. It was a very private song yet she will tell it to a complete stranger boy about it.

"You know," The girl started "I-I have this song that i made up myself and i will sing it to myself whenever i feel hopeless or just completely sad..."

This time, The boy looked at the girl with curiosity. He doesn't speak a word, he just gave her a look as an answer that which the girl completely understands so she took a deep breath before singing the song softly.

"Lift your head, baby, don't be scared, of the things that could go wrong along the way~"

The boy just stared at the girl, analyzing each word that the girl had sang. Her voice was as beautiful as the siren's voice. Her voice was so mesmerizing that she could lured anyone into her hands like a siren.

Like a Siren, She's Beautiful yet Dangerous...

"You'll get by, with a smile~ You can't win at everything but you can try~ "

As she sang does words, the girl gestured to her mouth, asking the boy to smile. And with that, the boy flashed a little smile, almost unnoticeable yet the little girl quickly catch the glimpse of it before it vanished. And it's not like ordinary smile, it's a genuine smile. It's like a miracle that a boy that was cold as ice could smile genuinely.

Because of that, the little girl smiled too
"See? You should smile more. Smile fits you well..."

"You think so?" The boy asked

"I know so!" The little girl replied

And they smiled at each other
