Victoria walked through the corridor with Henry and his Hufflepuff friend named Augustus while Gideon and Rhea... Well, they didn't know.

As Augustus is about explain the Plant that the Herbology Professor taught to them, Tom Riddle blocked their way.

"Can we help you with something, Riddle?" Augustus asked calmly, raising his eyebrow to the Slytherin boy for he know him as a "Muggle born hater" which he avoid the most because he was a muggleborn or should he say mudblood, according to them.

Tom ignored the presence of the two hufflepuffs and faced Victoria as he asked a question: "Can i have a word?"

Victoria looked at the two hufflepuff boys who look uncomfortable.

"In private..." Tom added, now looking at the two hufflepuff boys coldly

"I'll see you at class" Victoria said, bidding them a farewell

Tom impatiently waited for the boys to left and when they finally left, Tom's charming face turned into cold ones.

"Dragons," Tom said in a serious tone

Victoria furrowed her eyebrows in confusion "Pardon?"

"Dragons is the first task" Tom explained with a hard look

Victoria's heartbeat went from normal to critical "D-Dragons?"

Tom didn't reply instead he just looked at her in the eye. It's like he was analyzing her soul.

Deafening silence invaded the atmosphere. Victoria felt uncomfortable in a moment, not knowing what is she gonna say or do.

Without a word, Tom started to walk away, leaving Victoria and her thoughts.

Tom didn't know why is he telling her. Why is he helping her? Why a sudden move? He can't explain.

To gain her trust, that's why... Said the voice in Tom's head. Tom smirked at himself. His mistake turned into a beautiful strategy to gain her trust.

"Hey, wait!" Victoria yelled, trying to catch up with Tom

Tom was annoyed by it.

"What!?" He asked in a irritated tone as he stopped walking and faced the girl

"How did you know?" Victoria replied as she breathe heavily

Tom chuckled darkly "I know everything"

And with that, Tom started to walked away again but Victoria catch up with him, again.

"But why? Why did you informed me about that? You hate me..." Victoria asked making Tom to stopped walking

Tom just looked at her with a unreadable expression. He can't find a word to answer her question so he started to walked away from her but this time, he walked faster than earlier

Victoria did nothing this time. She just watched as Tom's shadow disappear.

Gideon waited for his turn as he sat down at one of the chair in the tent reserve for the champions with his hands sweating.

He was nervous but also excited about it. He still remembered when Victoria told him that the first task was gonna be dragons. He went pale and his heartbeat went faster than ever. He asked her how did she know about that and she answered that a boy named Tom Riddle told her. He owe Riddle for it. He made a mental note to thank him.

At first, he didn't believe her. A stanger just told her what is a first task why would Gideon believe it? Maybe someone fooling around or pranking on to them since they're aware that many people hate them, especially Ilvermony's. But Victoria defended Tom Riddle that he wasn't some brainless kid.

But still, Gideon didn't believe it so Victoria challenged him go to the forbidden forest to find some evidence and there they saw, a three fire breathing creature, locked in a cage.

This makes Gideon widened his eyes in surprise but at the same time, he's amazed.

Victoria felt the same. She was also surprised and amazed. Riddle isn't lying to her but she's confused, i mean he hated her so why would he help her? Flashback of the night where she saw Tom Riddle with his so called 'followers' played back to her mind.

She have to be careful.

Meanwhile, Rhea was worried about Gideon — Rhea said that she didn't sleep last night — She spent her night searching of how to fight a dragon.     

Gideon was thankful for Rhea. She told him a spell that can make a dragon sleep so he can easily capture the golden egg and bring the glory to Hogwarts and also he wanted the see his old school, Ilvermony to crash, especially the looking toad prick, Stanley.

He took a deep breath as his name called.

He ready his wand and came out from the tent then there he saw the crowd, cheering for him, making Gideon not nervous at all.

He slowly approached the dragon but the dragon suddenly breath a fire causing Gideon slipped because of out of balance and even worse is, Gideon dropped his wand.

The audience gasped to the scene.

Victoria prayed to Merlin for Gideon's safety while Rhea was holding her brother's hand, squeezing it too hard, enough to make Henry's bone crush because of her nervousness.

Gideon was about to pick up his wand when the Dragon breath another fire but Gideon was speed enough to hid at the huge rock.

Gideon was breathing heavily.

"You can do this, Gideon...." Rhea said underneath her breath

Gideon saw a medium size rock then suddenly a brilliant idea popped out to his mind.

Gideon picked up the rock and throw it at the opposite side for a distraction. The Dragon went to the place we're rock went.

Gideon took this opportunity to pick up his wand but unfortunately, he accidentally stepped up to a rock causing to make a noise.

The Dragon turned his head to Gideon and about to breathe another fire but Gideon was speed enough to cast a sleeping charm to the Dragon.

As Gideon casted the spell, The Dragon immediately fell asleep causing him to smile widely.

The audience roared with cheers and whistle as Gideon approach the Golden Egg, giving victory to Hogwarts.
