When Izuku woke up, which he found himself doing a lot of these past few days, he was in Naomasa-san's living room. A warm blanket was wrapped loosely around him and his left arm was numb from lying on it too long.

He hissed as he sat up, pins and needles stabbing him along his side. He rubbed his side lightly, trying to massage the feeling away. Taking a look around, he noticed that the large windows to the left of him were dark, the moon shining clearly out of the centre one. It was a beautiful sight to see - Izuku never really had the time to stay up and appreciate the night sky as he had when he was younger.

He remembers when his dad lived with them and how his dad would take him up to the roof to look at the stars. He remembers learning about constellations and the different planets, trying to pick them out of the sky. He remembers always falling asleep on his dad and waking up in the mornings in his bed with the smell of breakfast.

And then... he left.

Izuku sighed, rubbing his eyes with the heels of his palms, trying to get himself off of memory lane before he went in too deep again.

He really needed to stop his stream of thinking. It just leads to worse thoughts and makes him go down that rabbit hole again.

Leaning back, he turned his head to the side where he got a full view of the fireplace, the TV, the pictures along the wall, and... the dog's ass.

'When the hell did he get here?' Izuku had to wonder. Compared to how the dog was earlier, this was incredibly tame. Was he asleep? Or was he purposefully lying like that to show dominance? Honestly, the green-haired boy couldn't tell, and he doubted he would actually like to know.

He turned his head back to where he was staring at the ceiling, he tried to close his eyes and drift off once more. He tried keeping his thoughts to a minimum so that he could actually have a fair chance of falling asleep, but of course, something had to ruin that.

A light growling sound came from his left, right where he saw the dog last sleeping. Glancing over at the blond beast, he saw that the dog had shifted into a small ball, curled to where he could stare at Izuku from his bed. He had his head between his paws and continued to stare directly at the boy, growling getting louder.

"What?" Izuku whisper-yelled. "What do you want from me?"

The growling ceased and the small dog stood, stretching for a moment before making his way quietly over to the couch. His nails made a small clicking noise against the hardwood floors and were dampened once he reached the carpeted rug in front of where Izuku lied.

Izuku groaned, before turning his head back and draping an arm over his eyes, trying to ignore the tiny creature that glared up at him. The groan turned into an "oof" as the dog jumped onto the couch and sat down on the boy's chest.

Lifting his arm up a bit to look at the dog, the green-haired boy was surprised to see a blond paw in the air, waving slightly as if to signal him to do something.

"Scratches?" Izuku question, squinting his eyes in confusion. "Is that all you wanted?"

The pomeranian gave a small bark as confirmation, moving his paw to boop Izuku's nose. The boy was not impressed. Sighing, he brought his hand to the dog's chest and started scratching, which made the small beast raise his head.

A small smile made its way to the teen's face as he started scratching his way up the side of the dog's neck until he reached the top of the dog's head, where the soft ears of the animal lied.

Seemingly pleased with the number of scratches he was getting, the pomeranian drooped his head until he was lying down on Izuku's chest, his eyes barely open.
