"Ok fine , we will listen to you , but remember, no matter what you do , you will repent.", Alex says , staring directly into the man's eyes .
"Huh? Looks like the weakling hasn't understood anything yet. I can give you a free demo if you want ", the man comes closer and looks down at Alex ( who is 6ft, but looks like a baby in front of this man).
"Stop it !" I scream at the man , while holding Alex's hand firmly .
The guy looks down at me (barely 5'5) and starts laughing .
"What did you say shorty??"
Alex pulls me closer to him and gives me a look saying don't get involved .
The man says, "Looks like Shorty got scared ",and falls laughing on the couch .
"I said , Stop it ! You deaf peace of shit" I say while staring into his eyes .The man stops laughing at gives me a deadly stare.
Alex tries hard to control his laughter , but fails.
"You!", the man grabs Alex's collar.
"You will regret your life if you touch him", I say ,giving them the worst stare .
Dead silence follows for 2 mins.
As if the man is trying to digest what I just said .
Then he goes ....
"Oh really??, let's see then" and then throws a punch towards Alex .
With a firm grip on Alex's hand (that gives me some extra strength and confidence ) I just say it in a low firm voice "STOP".
Suddenly , there is a huge stormy wind which is causing all the windows to open and close continuously...
The clocks stop ticking ....
Everything freezes in its place ....
The man freezes in mid way .
"Now let me give you a demo of what I can do " I say to the frozen man , while letting go of Alex's hand and realizing that the strong grip has caused our hands to turn bright red.
I step forward and remove the mask from the man's face.
He looks like an average man , but I still get goosebumps.
That's when I hear a voice ,
"Wow!"
I turn around to see Alex waving his hand in front of the other guy's face. (the partner who was holding the guns)
"That was cool Lexi!" He says while still looking shocked .
"Wait wait wait , why did you not freeze??", I ask him with full confusion.
He asks " I have no idea . Hasn't this happened before?"while giving me a tight hug.
"No? At Least not that I know of ", I say , still confused to the core. "But why were you constantly bugging that man ? What would I do if something happened to you ? If it weren't for my powers, you would have gotten murdered ! You freak!" I say while pulling out of the hug and hitting his arm .
"It's ok ...calm down , breathe in...breathe out .", he says while waving his hands up and down in the air .
"I wouldn't have let him do anything to both of us ." He says nonchalantly ." Nobody dares to hurt Alex's sister ! Also , I had that water jug in my reach to smash on his head ."
