Chapter 29

Jimin was done with the closing of the supermarket and he bids goodbye to his coworker, once they had locked up the store

But he was hesitant, even though he had been living in that cozy house for two weeks now, he couldn't just let that feeling of being a sore thumb go. He knew that he doesn't belongs there, not in a million years. But the elder was different and Jimin knows that the elder was trying to make him feel at home. Every night Jimin would find a delicious Korean dinner laid out on the dining table for him which would remind him of his mother in Busan. On their first week, the elder tried to plan a movie night but jimin's lack of interest made it clear to the elder that, it was not going to work. Jimin was being thankless you would say, but he was just trying to keep his distance, he was just making it easier for himself, when the time to leave comes. Because he knows that he won't stay, he can't stay.

With his daily musings, Jimin reaches the small but cozy house. He stands in front of the house staring at the door for some time, he couldn't really understand why was he even doing this in the first place? He digs into his pocket and takes out the shining new key that the elder has given him last week. Why was the elder doing it?

He opens the door and as soon as he enters, the fluff ball that goes with the name holly comes to him while wagging his tail and a ball in his mouth. He drops the ball near Jimin's leg and rubs his face on Jimin's leg and this was the only thing that calms him down after all the thinking that he does on the way.

He sits down on the floor near the entrance and lets holly jump onto his lap and Jimin starts rocking back and forth.

"was my holly waiting for me to play the ball" jimin asks for which holly gives a small woof and licks Jimin's face

"Jimin-ah, you are home?" the voice of the elder startles him as he would be the only one at home at this time usually which makes holly to jump out of his lap and go to Yoongi

"hi hyung, I was just going to wash up"jimin says while standing up and that's when he sees that the elder was dressed up to go out. But it was no a Friday night, Jimin thinks to himself

Yoongi sees the way the younger was looking at him and decides to answer his unasked question

"I just came back from a dinner meeting, incase you were wondering" Yoongi says with a shrug of his shoulder, picks up holly and starts walking inside

Jimin frowns at the creases on elder's forehead as if something was bothering him but who was jimin to ask. He follows the elder and stops when the elder turns to face him again

"Jimin, I was wondering if you are up for a movie tonight" Jimin looks at the elder and he could see that something was bothering him and if him sitting next to him to pretend to watch a movie would be of any help then Jimin was all in for it because that's nothing compared to what the elder has done for him.

"sure hyung"on Jimin's positive reply elder gives a big gummy smile

"perfect, I'll go get changed and you freshen up and do you have any particular movie in mind?" Yoongi asks, doing a poor job at hiding his excitement

"no hyung, you can pick the movie,I'll be right out" jimin says with a smile, a genuine smile this time

"ok" with that both of them went to their separate rooms where jimin had his luggage still neatly packed because he just don't wanted to unpack everything and start feeling at home when he would have to leave one day.

He goes back to the living room only to hear his hyung talking on the phone with his mother since he can hear the way he was calling out to his mother on every second sentence
