After the tiring day at work Namjoon enters his apartment, but unlike everyday, the penthouse was engulfed in darkness and was eerily silent. Usually he would be greeted by Jungkook's bunny smile who would be in the kitchen from where amazing mouthwatering smells will be coming
"kookie?" Namjoon calls out while switching on the lights and keeping his bag on the couch in the living room
He was about to call him once again when Jungkook comes out of his room with one towel wrapped around his waist and he was drying his hair with the other.
"ahh hyung, you are back?" surprisingly he didn't give Namjoon either his bunny smile or his warm welcome hug
"I thought you were out when I saw the lights were out" Namjoon replies, checking Jungkook for his facial expression but the boy was not showing any expression and Namjoon knows that Jungkook does that only when he wants to hide something because he couldn't lie to him so he just shows no emotions at all
"ahh!! That, I was tired from the practice today, I was forced to join dance classes, so I came and went straight to take a bath" he replies "oh hyung! You've got a mail" saying that Jungkook motions towards the coffee table and then goes back inside his room, maybe to put on some clothes
Namjoon goes towards the coffee table and looks at the brown envelop on it, he frowns when he sees that there was no stamp nor any address written on it which clearly means that it didn't come through mail
He picks up the folder and opens it to find a few picture of young girls along with their profile info and at once he knew what it was, a matchmaking thing that his mother has been talking about since last week, he was yet to tell Jungkook and the lack of proof of address on the folder makes it all clear
He keep the folder on the table and goes to jungkook's room and enters without knocking and Jungkook turns with wide eyes who was only in his track pants
"hyung, you scared me" Jungkook says while grabbing his t-shirt which was namjoon's till last month until Jungkook decided that it will be very comfortable to sleep in
"who came?" Namjoon asks looking at him
"w-what are talking about hyung?" Jungkook says while pulling down his t-shirt over his head
"father or mother?" Namjoon asks again
Jungkook sighs "Mother" he replies while sitting on his bed.
Namjoon sighs while loosening his tie and sitting next to Jungkook
"why didn't you tell me hyung?" Jungkook asks when Namjoon rests his head on jungkook's shoulder
"she talked about it last week, I never thought that she would come up with those, this fast" Namjoon says sounding really tired and closes his eyes while inhaling jungkook's coconut scent which always calms him down
"a-are you going to look at those?" Jungkook asks while stuttering for which Namjoon just sighs
"mother said that its about time for you to find a partner" Jungkook tell him
"and what do you think?" Namjoon asks him
"and she even said that even hobi hyung is getting married and you both are of same age" Jungkook replies ignoring his hyung's question
"mhmmm" comes Namjoon's only reply
"hyung, what do you think?" Jungkook asks timidly
"what do you think kookie, should I look through those and find myself someone?" he asks, now sitting straight and looking at Jungkook who was looking down
