The day started out normal, as it had been my whole life. The birds sang their morning song at the glance of the rising sun, and the flowers began to open and show their beautiful array of colors. It was peaceful, and perfect. I had lived on quite farm my whole life, being at peace with myself surrounded by nature and all her beauties. Those beauties being the horses we own on the ranch. My mother allowed me one horse, and I took it upon myself to love him unconditionally. His name was OIF, my beautiful stallion. Just thinking about the breeze shifting through my hair made me smile. My trance was broken by the sound of my mother yelling from downstairs.
"Honey! Breakfast is ready come on!" She yelled, trying not to strain her voice. I rolled my eyes with a smile and shuffled down our cabin stairs. "Morning Ma' !" I respond, tilting my head forwards towards the smell of fresh bacon. "Oh! You made my favorite! What's the occasion?" I ask her suspiciously. She only makes my favorites when we have deep talks, so I was always afraid of bacon..
"Look hun, we need to talk. Your Pa' and I have been talking...and we are running low on budgets for the farm..." My Ma' says, looking like she's holding in a flood of tears. "And...we figured it would be best...to send you to a good school far away so you won't have to suffer here with us." She finally let all of those tears go. Watching her sob only made my tears flow heavier and heavier.
"Ma' ! What are you talking about..! I'll suffer her with you, and this farm! I won't let anyone take me from this place!" I had lived here my whole life, and like hell I would be leaving.
"This isn't your choice y/n!" She yelled, getting irritated at my stubbornness. "You are leaving tomorrow. You are going to an idol school in Japan."
"But Ma-!" I interrupted.
"No "buts" y/n! You will listen and follow what I say! I love you, and I'm doing this for you!" She said between tears.
At this point, I had no choice but to follow her rules. My mother is always right..and I have to trust her..right? I simply stared at her as she pointed upstairs, motioning for me to pack. I ran up the wooden stairs in a stampede of sorrow and fury. What about OIF? And my life here?! What about everything I worked for! I slam into my pillow and start to sob, and this goes on until I fall asleep, unprepared for the next day.
