It took a while to get through the mobs of paparazzi to my plane. But thankfully, Officer Jones, the man who escorted me here, also escorted me through the crowds. I sighed as we reached my terminal, the gate already open waiting for my entry. I thank the flight attendant who grabs my small bag and bows, waiting for me to proceed ahead. When I do walk on, I see 3 other girls. We will have one more stop on the way to Angeles, though I don't know where. I sit in the large, first class seat that is more like a modern style living room chair that spins around and around.
The plane looks more like a hang out room, or a dinner lounge type place where I would go to eat when I did photo shoots. I sighed, sinking into the soft white fabric. I look to my side where a woman, maybe the age of Clarissa, held a tray of wine glasses.
"Champagne, Lady Bradilyn?" She asks with a smile and light curtsy.
"Oh, uh, sure. Thank you." I smile as I take a glass. She curtsies again before moving back into the back cabin.
"So you're the girl from Kent?" Another selected says, not turning towards me. I don't see much of her, but her voice sound irritated and unpleased by me.
"Yes? Im Bradilyn," I say turning to her and waiting for her to do the same. She finally does, revealing her red-brown hair and amazing green eyes. I knew her in a second.
"Gold, Elegance Gold." She said, sounding very unamused.
"Nice to-" she cuts me off.
"Oh save it! We all know you're not going far in this competition." She rolls her eyes and looks at her false acrylic nails.
"Excuse me?" I say a bit surprised.
"Did I stutter? Or do you just not know english since you only ever learned anything up to the age of 13?" She starts off in a sarcastic sweet tone but quickly transfers into her annoyed one. A girl with bright blond hair looks over.
"Im sorry, how exactly do you know all of-" She cuts me off, AGAIN.
"Oh honey, my father is the mayor of Midston! I can get any information I want through him, through the King." She smirks and stands up, then leans over me. Her breasts are almost all the way out of her shirt and its very disturbing. Who dresses like that?
"Oh, and sweetheart?" She gives a fake smile before ripping the mint rose out of my hair and crumpling the fragile petals in her hand.
"Its supposed to be a white rose." She drops the petals at my feet before turning away with a satisfied smirk on her lips.
It takes everything in me not to just stand up and rip her perfect hair out. Instead I watch her open a magazine and put on some headphones, my brows pulling together in anger and annoyance. Yet behind my anger is also sadness. I have only met 1 person, and she hates me! What is that?
I sigh and turn the other way, leaning back into my chair, looking out the window as we start to move, ready for take off. After we are in the air, the blond girl who looked over earlier walks over to me and sits in the seat across from me.
"Bradilyn, right?" She says tilting her head.
"Are you going to criticize me too?" I reply, not wanting to do this again. She laughs. Laughs.
"Im Sarah Star, Atlin, Three." she hold out her hand with a smile.
"Bradilyn Stem, Kent, Two former Seven." I take her hand and shake in gently.
"Wow, big climb! Did you buy your way up?" She asks taking a sip of the champagne she brought with her.
"No, a talent agent stopped by my family's green house one day to buy a bunch of flowers for his daughters wedding. He didn't have enough cash on him, so he took me with him to arrange the flowers and become a model for his newest magazine inspiration in payment instead." I explain as I grab my glass as well.
