Prologue

Haley's POV

I'm just going to put this out there.

I am in love with Luke Hemmings.

I know I shouldn't be but I just can't help it. He's just so gorgeous. And perfect. And funny. And just everything a girl wants in a guy.

But there is one thing wrong with it all:

He's dead.

I have gone through so much pain with it, and sometimes I blame my self for it. But at the end of the day, I just miss and love him so much.

Before he died, everything was perfect. I had the guy of my dreams. He loved me, and I him. We were both following our dreams. We thought nothing could ever go wrong.

But like naive teenagers, we were wrong.

Then the accident happened and I was shattered, depressed, I was crying all the time, and I never left the house.

So, you want to know why I'm still helplessly head over heels in love with him? Well, you'll just have to wait and see.
