I never knew that a picture of him playing a guitar would remind me of his flesh and blood. His son. Just by how he strummed his guitar reminds me of those little hands trying to perfect a tune with his little efforts. By how he crease his eyebrow, hearing a wrong melody reminds me of how his frowns whenever he goes wrong and had to start over again.

He's tuning Coen's guitar. Kadarating niya lang kanina matapos ko magshower. He showered and changed, too, dahil ng aalis na siya.

He strummed it a little longer with an unknown melody. "Ayos na.."

I nodded and looked away. "Thanks."

"You ordered your dinner?"

"Bababa ako mamaya para sa dinner," I said and turned off my blower.

I'm wearing a nighties without a bra beneath it. Hindi ko alam kung pansin niya iyon.

"With.. that?" I can almost see him pointing at my nighties with full of disgust on his face.

I glanced at him and frowned. "Magbibihis ako mamaya! At ikaw? I thought you'll leave now?"

He raised his eyebrow at me. "Bakit ikaw ang nagtataboy ngayon?"

I pursed my lips and turned my head away from him. A full sized mirror was on the side, making me see what we look like right now. How funny. We exactly look like those couples on honeymoons, spending their nights in a hotel.

The bride wearing a sexy seducing hot pink nighties and the groom wearing a plain black polo longsleeved, not properly unbuttoned and has a messy hair.

"You should go. Anong oras na?" palusot ko at naupo sa kama para tignan ang orasan. Its already six.

"Get a room service."

Nilingon ko siya. "Bababa ako mamaya!"

"Then, change. You don't want another asshole after you later."

Umirap ako. "Yes, Dylan. God, can you just leave?"

"Anong oras ka aalis bukas?"

Padabog kong binagsak sa hita ko ang suklay at nilingon siya. The guitalele was already on the bed while he's eyeing me intently. Add the fucking tease of his chest showing.

"Bakit ba?"

"So I can schedule our dinner?"

Natigilan naman ako. Okay, I won't argue with him about this.

"Schedule it some other time. Busy pala ako bukas."

"Oh? Anong gagawin mo?"

Masama ko siyang tinignan. "Work!"

"And?"

"Rest!"

He sighed and rolled his eyes, already giving up. "When are you free, then?"

"Hindi ko alam, Dylan. I will probably just text you." humalukipkip ako. "Teka nga, akala ko ba busy ka? You were ignoring me the whole time because you said you're busy—"

"I was busy.."

"Tapos ngayon hindi? Are you just excusing the whole time—"

He stood up, ending the conversation already. "Hahanap at hahanap ako ng libreng oras para sa dinner natin, Zhianela. Even if I'm busy. I'll always find a space for it."
