Chapter 2- Gunnar's Warning

Groaning, Jyn slowly opened her eyes, she saw shady trees and found herself lying on a hill.

' The Realm of Good Spirits! ' she gasped excitedly and spotted Gunnar Lesley standing there waiting for her, there was no Axel to be seen with him, but she knew why.

' Gunnar! ' Jyn rushed down the hill to meet him.

' Hello, Jyn. How is it going in Elliot Village? ' Gunnar asked, smiling warmly at her.

' I'm doing great! T- though it may... actually... not be that... g- great. ' Jyn gulped.

' Hm. ' Gunnar gave a nod and walked off.

' G- Gunnar? Gunnar! Hey, wait for me! ' Jyn rushed to catch up with him, only to find that they parked by a cliff near the seas. The waves clashed against the ginormous rocks below, making loud, overlapping whooshing noises as if they were the wind.

' You must be wondering why I summoned you here tonight, Jyn. ' Gunnar said calmly, his fixed on the setting sun.

' Y- yes...? ' Jyn stammered.

' There is a great evil coming, even worse than Asuss, Jyn. If it's not stopped, then... '

' Everything will be gone? ' Jyn guessed. That was the same answer when Asuss was still around.

' Worse. That time when Asuss was about to rule the world and destroy it, everyone dies, some will end up here in the Realm of Good Spirits... some would even end up in the Realm of Evil... but this time, everything will go straight to the Darkness... '

' " The Darkness "? ' Jyn repeated. ' You mean... everything will be nothing? No realms? Nothing? Even the creatures? '

' Yes. I'm afraid so. Even me. Everyone present now in both Realms Good and Evil, even they'll disappear. Then, there will be no such thing as the Earth anymore... ' Gunnar sighed, looking down. When Jyn had heard the words, ' no such thing as the Earth anymore, ' she had a sudden feeling whether everyone would be transported to space and become aliens... I mean, space is darkness, right?

' H- how will the world be then, if everything was to be destroyed? A- and we did nothing about it? '

Gunnar sighed again. He waved a hand magically. The surroundings all of a sudden became what looked like the future. Everything was burnt down, even the forests. What's worse, all the villages, including Elliot Village, was burnt down into continuous prickling flames. And to make it even worse, not even a single living soul was seen. Jyn gasped as Gunnar gave another magical wave and the surroundings of the Realm could be seen again.

' You must be prepared, Jyn. We don't know who or what it is that's coming after us, but whoever or whatever it is, I do know he is coming after the Chosen Phoenix... you. '

Jyn's heavy breathing continued until everywhere around her started to spin and she was going dizzy due to the speed of the spinning and in one quick blink, she was on her bed, panting like madness. Leckeo and Axel were staring at her, their eyes as wide as tennis balls, probably thrice the size, as though they were both saying, ' What's wrong with you? '

' S- sorry... ' Jyn murmured. The two animals looked at each other then they went back to sleep. Jyn sat up, thinking deeply about what she had just seen. 

' Ben! Ben!!! Ben, Ben, Ben, Ben, Ben, Ben, Ben... '

Jyn's impatient yelling ( it was urgent, so she had the right to do so ) and banging on the door had woken Ben with a start.

' What is it this time?! ' Ben muttered and let out a tremendously loud yawn, causing Joris, his black and white tabby pet cat, rush out of his basket and squeeze under his Ben's bed.

' Ben! Oh come— ' Jyn couldn't speak anymore. After all those yelling, she coughed loudly and cleared her throat. Standing by the door, she waited, trying to be patient, but couldn't because she had wanted to tell him about the warning Gunnar had given her.

' Hello, Jyn... ' Ben groaned as he opened the door. ' You're up early... '

Jyn smiled and laughed nervously as she was let in. Ben did seem quite tired and annoyed.

' What?! ' a not- so- tired- anymore Ben choked on his tea and stared at Jyn. Jyn thought that his eyes were as big as those of Leckeo when she woke him up after her dream.

' Okay, okay... ' Ben said, trying to understand clearly about what Jyn had said. ' So first we fought Asuss, nearly died, and you became the Chosen Phoenix, and then now there's some maniac lurking around for you and he's going to destroy the world? Like- like not rule the world, but destroy it? But actually it's a " no " for both because he wants to send everything to the Darkness?! '

Jyn nodded.

' Okay so this lunatic guy had better have a good reason for lurking around like some wild beast on the lose in search for someone, just so that he could destroy the world and everyone and everything will go straight into the Darkness. '

Jyn nodded again. 

' We have to tell Anthony. ' he said seriously as he stood up.

' Okay. ' Jyn replied just as seriously and stood up face to face with Ben.

' And tell him about everything single thing you just told me. '

' Okay. '

' And we'll alert the whole village... '

' O- okay...? '

' And stop this approaching chaos. '

' N- not okay. ' 

' What? '

' You heard me! This... this lunatic guy is worse than Asuss! Gunnar knows his words, Ben. There's no point fighting him! '

' But then everything will go into the Darkness! '

' Yeah but there's got to be another way besides facing him! ' Jyn protested.

' Okay, Jyn aren't you being a little dramatic about this? ' Ben said, his voice dropping a bit.

' I'm being dramatic because I can't believe you wouldn't dare to fight someone who is going to end the world, and send every single soul into the Darkness! '

' Jyn, you don't understand... '

' Oh well here comes the " Jyn, you don't understand, " ' Jyn mocked. ' Well, you don't understand how to save the world! '

' This enemy. I know him, Jyn. I've faced him before, he wasn't as strong as now, though. It was in my times, when I still had your parents with me... '

' Please don't tell me you're going to babble about your life story I don't want to hear it... ' Jyn mumbled.

' I have to tell you a story about my life time that you won't want to hear. ' Ben smiled as he said simply. Jyn sighed and buried her face into her hands.

' Come on, Jyn. That way you may understand this enemy of yours better. ' Ben said. Jyn looked up, it took her for what seemed like for ever to finally nod, relenting.

' Alright... ' Ben said, his smile stretching wider across his face.
