Chapter 8- The Trap

' Alright, now what do we have here... aha! You there! Yeah you! '

Jyn aimed her arrow at a dummy she had drawn a face on. She smirked as she took one look at the dummy's shapeless eyes.

' Oh yeah? What are you going to do about it? Come on, now! Come at me! I'm not scared like a little mouse lost in the— woah! '

As Jyn spoke, she accidentally fired her arrow and it shot straight into a part of the dummy that you would not want to know. At the same time, Ben came strolling in. He looked unpleasantly at where the arrow sat. Jyn's face grew red, her insides burning with embarrassment.

' You really should make sure no guys notice that... ' Ben warned.

Too late. 

One of Ben's soldiers strolled past and greeted Ben. He then looked at the arrow in the dummy and scowled, taking a quick glimpse at Jyn then turning away from her, walking a little faster than before. Jyn let out a huge sigh. She turned to Ben, who shook his head slowly.

' G- guess it can't go to the restroom, then? Heh heh...? ' Jyn laughed nervously, trying to make a laugh, but it only made the moment worse. Clearing her throat, with her embarrassment growing inside her, Jyn walked in a swift movement past Ben, not daring to even take a single glance at him.

' Lesley, Lesley! ' Jyn stopped in her tracks and spun around to see Jill rushing towards her.

' Jill, what's wrong? ' Jyn said, surprised.

' Lesley, boy I'm glad I found you! You need to come with me! Quick! It's an emergency! '

' Alright. ' Jyn turned to Ben, who rushed towards her.

' Where are you going? ' he asked.

' Jill has an emergency and he needs my help. ' 

' Oh then I'm coming with you, just in case— '

' Oh, no, no, no! ' Jill interrupted. Jyn and Ben turned to Jill, raising an eyebrow.

' Oh, uhh, heh heh... ' Jill muttered solemnly. ' Jyn is the only one who could fix this... '

Jyn turned to Ben and shrugged. Ben sighed and nodded a few times before giving a brief smile and walking off.

' Okay so where is this place that we're going to— '

' Come on follow me! ' 

Jyn grunted as Jill pulled her out of the clearing.

Jyn had been following Jill for almost an hour or two. She looked at Jill suspiciously.

' Seriously, Jill. What do you want? '

' J- just a few metres... ' Jill muttered back. Jyn sighed impatiently.

Finally in the depths of the Forbidden Forest, Jill stopped and turned to face Jyn. He had a worried look on his face and Jyn immediately knew that something was definitely wrong. But it was something with Jill.

' I'm so sorry, Jyn. I'm really, really sorry! ' he wailed out of the blue. Jyn let out a gasp of horror when something emerged from the bushes.
