The Chosen Phoenix II

Chapter 18- The World Reunited

' They've returned! The Chosen Phoenix has returned! We're saved! ' one of the villagers in Elliot Village announced happily. Everyone rushed out of the house to greet Jyn. 

' Who's that? ' one woman pointed at Tom.

' Ah! No! She has brought our enemy to the village! ' Jill yelled. ' That's him! That's the one I've been telling you all about! '

The next moment there were screaming as the villagers prepared their weapons.

' I guess the training wasn't really necessary. The battle was actually easier than I thought it would be. ' Ben chuckled.

' Yeah, weird, am I right?... but I nearly died. I mean, I did die. And— oh, erm... hey guys! Don't worry! Calm down now! He's safe, don't worry. He's with us, now. '

' Oh, thank the Earth. ' one of the villagers muttered loudly.

Jyn smiled.

Years later...

' ... and so, the world was reunited. That's why you're so safe. Elliot Army grew stronger and stronger and Tom Lesley fought side by side with them. The Village was never bothered again. ' the cover new version of Legend of the Chosen Phoenix was shown to two children. It had the Phoenix's Stone, the Phoenix Statue, Axel, Gunnar, Zavyer Elliot, and the Phoenix's Sword, in the hands of the Chosen Phoenix. A 17-year-old sat by the fireplace in front of a pair of siblings.

' Alright now, go to sleep you little rascals! ' an average-aged man, who sat resting on an armchair at the corner, chuckled.

' Aw! But we want to hear the story again! Remember when Asuss nearly succeeded? Haha! ' one of the two laughed as he leaped onto his twin sister. Then she started chasing him up to their room.

' G'night! ' they both called from upstairs. Jyn looked at Ben and smiled. Ben smiled back.

' Well, at least they know our history, not even knowing it was you. ' he chuckled. Another slightly younger man than him barged in.

' Hey, I heard I was said to be the greatest enemy of all time in that book! ' Tom laughed.

' Shh! Uncle! You'll wake the kids up! ' Jyn shushed.

' Oh come on, now. They're probably still awake DOING SOMETHING THEY'RE NOT SUPPOSED TO DO! ' Tom raised his voice at the last few words so the twins could hear them, then they immediately hopped into bed.

A couple entered and smiled at the three.

' Thank you three for taking care of them. They're really very mischievous. ' 

' Ah, thank Jyn. She did most of the work. And that guy over there just entered. ' 

' Yeah, and he just sat at the corner like a bunch of nothing. Right, Ben? Yeah I don't even need to ask. ' Jyn smiled. 

A phoenix swooped in after them and landed on Jyn's shoulder. She smiled and stroked him. Leckeo bounded in and yawned, landed with a thud once it had entered, immediately asleep.

' Leckeo! ' Jyn chuckled and picked the yawning fox up into her arms. Leckeo licked her face with his warm, wet tongue. 

' Time flies, Jyn. Time flies. ' Ben yawned as he exited the house.

' Babysitting isn't really my thing. But I guess I could handle a err... few more years... ' said Jyn. Axel flew out through the window and increased its size, waiting for Jyn. Jyn closed the door behind her and mounted him. Axel gave a loud screech and and raised his wings. Everyone in Elliot Village called out and cheered. Anthony Elliot stepped out of his house and smiled.

' Jyn Lesley. The Chosen Phoenix, now a full-understanding warrior. ' he smiled.

' Oh come on, now don't be so proud you're not even the brat on that phoenix. ' Tom grunted as he stopped next to Ben. Jyn rolled her eyes as Axel started crouch, ready to take flight with his wings slowly spreading.

' But Jyn is an understanding warrior, ' said Ben.

' Eh, whatever. '

The two men laughed and watched the red dim light vanish out of sight in the moonlight.
