I went out and got a nurse for Lilah. But damn I wanted to undress her and redress her. I sit down and put my head in my hands. Should I tell her that she's going to be living with me? I asked my mom earlier if that's okay since the jerks of her foster parents don't pay attention to her. My mom agreed after I explained why. She's over at Lilah's foster parents' house to get her clothes and the necessary items that Lilah needs for everyday life. You know what? I'm going to tell Lilah, I'm go-
BADING!
I look down at my phone and see that mom texted me.
'where are you? I finished getting her things.'
I texted her back saying:
'I am still at the hospital. How did it go?'
I turn my phone off just as I heard:
BADING! BADING!
Two texts? I turn the phone on and saw that both of them were from mom:
'Terrible. I need to talk to you about them.'
That's probably bad, something must've happened. I start to text her back when the nurse wheels Delilah out, I turned my phone off and shoved it in my pocket.
"Hey."
"Hey." she replies. I look at the nurse.
"I can take her from here." The nurse nods and leaves. I take the nurse's place and wheel her to the elevator. "Please don't get mad at me."
"Okay?" She said hesitantly.
"So, your foster parents weren't treating you right, so I took it upon myself to intervene and take you under my wing."
