(I'm going to try 3rd person, as I almost did in the middle of the last chapter)

Morning sun shined into the room in which Minato rests. Ocean blue eyes blinked slowly, then stretched. The male let out a groggy yawn as he climbed out of the bed. He rubbed his face with a groan as he turned his head to the alarm clock that sat silently on the bedside table. It was 7:00 o,clock, he hummed as he made his way out of the bedroom to the living room. But only to find a Kakashi sleeping soundly on the couch. Minato smiled softly and changed his direction to the kitchen.

He could probably make something for them both with the left over rice and eggs from the curry last night. Opening up the fridge he takes out the eggs and grabs a frying pan from out under the counter. After a bit of poking at eggs, he hears a soft shuffle to his right. Glancing over he spots Kakashi lazily leaning on the door frame. "Ya' know Sensei, you didn't have to worry about cooking." He breathed, his voice fresh with morning grogginess. Minato blinked a couple of times taking in the way Kakashi's hair splayed over is face, delicately touching his forehead. Minato smiled brightly then shakes his head lightly "No, it's fine, I felt like it anyway." He stated while flipping the two eggs that simmered on the pan. Kakashi hummed and made his way to the rice that sat on the counter.

"Do you want to heat up the rice?" Kakashi mumbled still sounding tired. "I planned too." Minato said softly before continuing, "Just place it in the microwave." Kakashi nodded fumbling a bit, but finally placing said rice into the microwave. Minato heard a few beeps, and then the low hum of the microwave started. Poking at the eggs one last time he takes them out and places each one on a separate plate. He looked up and noticed Kakashi leaning back onto the counter reading what looked like a 'Make Out Paradise' book. Minato rolled his eyes. Who would have thought the man would end up reading such books. The microwave made a loud beep, kinda like screaming "I'm done!"

Minato opened the microwave, beating Kakashi to it. He grumbled seemingly displeased with Minato before chuckling it off. "Go sit at the table, I'll bring the food with me." The blonde ordered, bopping Kakashi atop of the head with a spatula. Kakashi groaned, shuffling too the table that sat across the living room. Minato laughed heartily, a soft smile resting on his face. They ate pretty fast, Kakashi mentioned a few things about what they'll do once they get to the compound. Minato could only help but to listen to the other male fondly. Kakashi's voice was low but soft as he spoke. The aloof mannerism stuck to him. Blinking slowly as he explained why he'd prefer to move back to the compound than stay at the apartment. The blonde didn't mind, it was Kakashi who was his host, and he wouldn't mind for the world what the other man chose.

Quick feet shuffled around the complex hurrying to pack a few things here and there. Minato stood at the door awkwardly waiting for the silver haired man, who had ordered him to wait there. It wasn't Minato's fault that Kakashi couldn't handle leaving without his back-up mask, speaking of which he couldn't find. It was a couple of minutes till he heard a loud groan come from said man across the complex. "Can't find it!" Minato hollered, to suddenly see a grumpy Kakashi peak his head out of the bedroom. "Nope." The male let out an extra pop with the p'. Minato shook his head. "You'll be fine without it, Kakashi." Kakashi grunted in response, not really wanting to believe that. But the blonde gave Kakashi some sort of comfort that made him follow man out of the door.

Kakashi trucked ahead of him, grumbling something about the kids scampering around. It was a decently long walk, and the amount of times a poor lady would holler for Kakashi was sad. It was about the tenth time the poor male had to refuse a lady that needed his help. Once they made it to the compound Kakashi let out a deep sigh. Minato only chuckled following the relieved male. The house was nearly empty, only housing basic furniture. Barely any decorations for that matter. Though the apartment was quiet similar in a way. So Minato assumed Kakashi didn't like decor. Setting a few things down at the door, Kakashi then proceeds to show the blonde around. The compound had four bedrooms and three baths. There was also a little garden, right outside the main living area. "Welp, make yourself comfortable."
