Compel || Tom Riddle x Reader

5 - S P E L L

      
   We reached the Gryffindor common room. Surprisingly, no one was here yet. Tom's eyes trailed around the place, not even glancing at me.

"I've been meaning to talk to you because I want to do a spell." He paused. "There is one.." He paused again and pulled out a small book from his robe. I took a slight look at it, it was a tiny book of spells. "There is a type of spell that allows you to merge.. it is confusing to explain but it's when I would know if you're in danger without being near you." Riddle spoke.

I tilted my head. "Why?" I asked softly. He scoffed, opening the book, and tracking for the spell. "Why? Are you serious? I don't want to be near you all the time. If you haven't noticed, you're really annoying."

I rolled my eyes. Why was he so rude? I nodded my head in agreement, Tom was right, I didn't want him to be near me all the time either, I guess.

It didn't take him long to figure it out, he was clever of course. After a while he looked up at me, lifting his wand up, whispering a quick spell.

"Done." Tom said. "What? Is there a problem?" His voice heightened. "I wasn't focusing, sorry." I replied.

This musty bitch is disrespectful

"There is no reason for me to stay in this common room anymore, now that we are done, i'm leaving."

He trailed away but I ran to stop him, to my luck I accidentally tripped and our bodies pressed against each other. The second time today. Tom held onto a counter behind us so we wouldn't fall over. I back away embarrassed of my actions. He cleared his throat. "Were you trying to say something?" Raising his eyebrow.

"Nothing. Never mind. You can leave." I coughed.

I was going to thank him for doing the spell but the embarrassment felt difficult.

He left without saying goodbye. Such a dick.

I prepared to go to bed after awhile. There was a quidditch game tomorrow that Ginny wanted me to attend to.
