34 - I N V I T E D

A/n: before we start I just want to inform that a few days ago I edited almost every chapter, the beginning will be a bit different if you read it (I tried to make the writing better)

I felt like a fucking detective at this point. I shouldn't be getting myself into business like this, especially with tom

I found myself almost entirely forgetting the awful things he's done.
Now I'm friends with him?
The 'friendship' wasn't even reasonable.

But he was the person that asked to be friends, he was the person who promised me he wouldn't do any unpleasant things if we were just friends.

No. I didn't feel like I fully trusted or believed him.

One thought that was roaming inside my head, why would he have a diary that's completely blank ?

A diary that I clearly saw him write in.

It took me a while to finally get myself together, i'm not doing this shit. I don't care what Tom's doing, I can't care what he's doing. It would just lead me to more problems. 

I have to ignore him.

I should ignore him.

It was the only way after all, Tom didn't work for my parents anymore, there wasn't anything he had protect me from anymore.

Although it took a while to convince m parents I can clearly defend myself.

Tom did need the money for something.

Instead of trying to comprehend going on, someone should tell me. I shouldn't always be the one to find out myself, Right?

Starting today I began ignoring Tom. 

It wasn't that difficult to be truthful, Riddle did seemed like he noticed I was dismissing him frequently. He ignored me too just like I was.

More days past and still not a single word between both of us, instead a lot of accidental awkward eye contact.

Accidental

Draco and I got closer over the past weeks. I never thought he would actually be this nice. He's great and funny honestly, but it didn't feel like a relationship with feelings.

I pace to potions class the next morning, sitting next to the Ravenclaw I was assigned to settle with. Professor Snape announced our exams were going to begin less than two weeks.

In the corner of my eye I saw Tom's face, glaring severely at me. I didn't look back.

Potions class was almost over, I waved Luna goodbye and left the classroom.
