Chapter 1: Secrets

Author's note: Hi this is my first Criminal Minds/ Jemily fanfiction. I do apologize if it is not very good, but planning this had really relaxed me while school has been very stressful. I am open to suggestions about the story, because I want to know your guys opinions on it. I wrote this on a different account but it was not letting me publish there so if you think that you have seen this story you probably did, I just deleted the story and the account. JJ's Pov:

Ugh. 3 am. This really is not good for me, I need to have an actual sleep schedule. But that is the cost of this job, no matter what time Garcia or Hotch calls me we have to get to the BAU. I got up feeling nauseous, like I have been for the last 3 weeks. I found out that I was pregnant about a month and a half ago when I realized that I had missed my period. Only problem is, the father is a date I had and I also do not plan on telling him. I also still have to find a way to tell the team, and Emily. And with that I get up and get ready to go to the BAU with my go-bag in hand knowing we have a case.

Its 56 degrees. 56 fucking degrees! I rush to my car trying to get out of the cold as fast as I can. As soon as I'm in the car I turn on the heater and with that I head to work.

Emily's Pov:

I get up knowing what I'm doing, where I'm going, and what I need. Hotch never calls us in this early unless its for a case. The fact he has us get up at 3 in the fucking morning must mean that this one is super bad. Before I leave my apartment I look at the temperature outside and notice its 56 degrees. Well fuck. Just what I need. Before I leave I decide to grab a coat out of my closet just so I don't freeze. I pick an extra because I know JJ will have forgotten one. With that I collect myself and head out the door.

It's a short drive to work because I decided to find an apartment that was close to the BAU. But I also know that I will most likely beat JJ to work just in time to give her a jacket. Because when we aren't on a case she drives like a 60 year old grandma.

It is close to 3:30 am when I arrive at the BAU, but I sit in the parking lot to wait for JJ to give her the jacket. 5 minutes later JJ pulls in and of course, no jacket.

JJ's Pov:

When I pull in I already see Emily's car and I pray that she has an extra jacket because it's freezing and the BAU ALWAYS has the air conditioning going. I don't understand how the rest of the team doesn't get cold in the office. I mean granted Garcia never goes anywhere without one of her sweaters, and Rossi, Hotch, and Spence are almost always wearing suits. But Morgan? Wait nevermind its MORGAN. I get out of the car and almost start running towards the main door, but I get stopped by someone, that someone was Emily.

"Woah calm down there Jayje." she says " I knew you were going to forget one, so I brought you a jacket." she hands me her favorite black velvet coat.

I respond with, "Isn't this your favorite coat?" and a puzzled look on my face.

"Yeah, but it is also my warmest one, and I also know how easily you get cold." she says with the slightest smile.

I was shivering but I couldn't help but admire how beautiful she looks, how the cold weather has made her cheeks just a little bit redder, as if she is blushing, and how it makes the tip of her perfectly shaped nose is rosy just like her cheeks. Damn, she so beautiful, I could just-

Emily's Pov:

"JJ?" she blushed and looked as if she had been snapped out of a trance when I called her name.

"What, huh? Sorry." by this time she had put on the jacket and had stopped shivering.

"Are you done daydreaming and ready to go inside? The rest of the team is probably waiting on us." I look at her slightly confused on what she was looking at.

"Oh yeah, lets go." she says as she starts to speed-walk away.

She walks so fast I have to run to keep up with her. Her hair looks so perfect as it bounces each time she takes a stride. And her blue eyes, like an ocean I could just get lost in. By the time I stop admiring JJ we are already on the elevator almost to our floor. We rush in because we already know we are late and the rest of the team is in the bullpen waiting for us.

JJ's Pov:

"Nice of you guys to join us" Rossi exclaims. Emily just scoffs and says, "We would've been here sooner but JJ over here forgot a jacket and I had to get her one"

Then we hear Hotch come from his office, "Alright now that we are all here, let's get started because this one is bad."

We all walk into the conference room, but none of us were prepared for what we were about to hear.

Sorry for the cliffhanger but I'm just getting started. I will be telling you guys what the case is in the next chapter, which will be very soon. I will not be posting weekly, I have a journal with all my ideas and I am going to be writing whenever a new idea pops up. I also might add some Moried moments in this because I ship them too. Once again I hope that you guys like this story and I am open to suggestions on how to make it better or even new story ideas. If you have any suggestions to make it better please leave them in the comments, I will read them if there are any and also more ideas for the storyline.( I might include a couple of them).
