Chapter 6: Answers

Hi guys, I know its been a little bit but I had some thing I needed to take care of before I started writing this chapter. Also just know I appreciate all of you guys, and you are all loved. If you are ever feeling like things are not going well, you have the option to reach out to me, talk to someone you really trust. You never have to go through anything alone. JJ's Pov:

"Will you move in with me?"

What?! Those words won't stop circling around in my head, internally I'm completely losing my shit, but on the surface I keep my cool. It doesn't take me long to regain my composure, and I know Emily can see the smile tugging at both sides of my lips. So without showing to much excitement and letting my voice falter too much I respond with," Yes, I would love to." My smile expands and I see one grow on Emily's perfectly structured face. We embrace each other in a hug, we stay this way for a little while until we finally separate and give her a kiss on the cheek; and I give her a slight chuckle, "What's so funny?" she looks at me slightly confused. I start laughing but not before I get out," I think you're burning the food." she turns around a sees that the food is indeed burning.

"Damn it. I'm sorry Jayje, I really wanted to do something special for you but instead I screwed it up." she looks down to the floor, I lift her chin and think to myself, doesn't she know she could never disappoint me, "You are perfect the way you are. Plus now this gives us the opportunity to make it together." She smiles as a response to what I had said. I continue, " Well alright, lets get this dinner started, what ingredients do we need Chef Emily." She chuckled and we got straight to work. We had about half of the ingredients when my phone rang, Emily and I already knew who it was going to be so we rolled our eyes and she started to put up the food while I answered the phone.

"Hey Hotch, let me guess, we have a case." I said while rolling my eyes.

"Yeah, I'm sorry this is so late but we need everyone here so we can debrief." he said with just a little bit of annoyance in his voice.

"Alright call the rest of the team, I can let Emily know." I looked at Emily across the room, she smiled a little bit.

"Thanks."

Emily's Pov:

Damn Hotch we were just about to make dinner. Now we have to go pick up food at like a crappy fast food restaurant. Not that either of us minded. We finished putting up what we were going to make, and started making our way back to the BAU. When we got there we were just waiting for Hotch and Garcia to present the case, we all gave them about 5 minutes to prepare what they needed.

"Alright lets go." Hotch called from the conference room, signaling that they had the presentation ready and we could start discussing before we went anywhere.

"You my fine furry friends will be taking yourselves to Missouri, where 3 blonde women were found strangled, and left in public places like parks." while looking at the bodies we noticed that this unsub clearly didn't care about leaving them there.

"He's leaving the bodies there as a taunt to either us or the police station." I said.
"The girls also look like they were out partying the night before, look at their dresses. Although we like to dress up, we won't dress like that going to a park, but a bar or club yes." JJ pointed out.

"Alright, we can discuss more one the plane, we should probably be there and slove the case before another body is found." Hotch said, but just then Penelope's tablet got a notification; as she looked down at it we all knew what it meant; another body was found. "Well, I guess its afe to say, wheels up now." Hotch said slightly annoyed knowing that the unsubs cooling down period was cooling down. "We will all meet at the hangar, but JJ can I talk to you." Hotch said while grabbing her arm.

"I'll close the door on the way out." I say while looking at JJ, because I was usually the last one out anyway.

JJ's Pov:

"So what did you wanna talk about Hotch?" I say while tilting my head slightly to the right.

"Since this is your first case back in the field, I was wondering if you would be okay with working out of the police station. Also if we needed you to go undercover, because you're his type he wouldn't see you with a bunch of FBI agents." he said in a sort of calming voice like he was expecting me to freak out or something.

"Yeah, of course. That is what I thinking about too."

"Oh. Well okay then, we should probably go. I take it you want to be with your girlfriend."

I feel the color drain out of my face, "What? I don't have a girlfriend? What are you talking about?"

He gives a slight chuckle, "JJ, you and Emily aren't very subtle. I see the way you look at each other. You do realize you work with profilers right? I'm okay with it as long as it doesn't affect your work."

"Thank you, Hotch. Just please don't tell the team yet, I literally just told them I'm pregnant."

"I would never. It's not my business." I give him a hug and walk out the door, and immediately go to Emily who was waiting for me, I almost burst into laughter. "He knows." I say with a snicker.

"That you're pregnant? Yeah JJ you told them all earlier today."

"No, he KNOWS." I see the color drain from her face just as mine did not even 5 minutes before. As soon as she regained the color to her face, we couldn't stop laughing.

"JJ, Emily lets go the teams waiting." We hear Hotch call from the double glass doors that have the FBI and BAU logo on them that lead in and out of the bullpen. With that Emily and I grab our go-bags and walk out with Hotch to start our journey to the wonderful state of Missouri that currently has a serial killer in its midst.

Hi, long time no see. I'm sorry for not updating, I kind of ran out of ideas of what to write about, so I took a break and decided to watch some more criminal minds. Once I got an idea I started writing and just decided to go with the flow. I know this was a little bit of a slower chapter, but I promise it will get more interesting. I decided to just make this a filler chapter. Also I was kinda thinking about adding some smut in the chapters to come so if you know me personally, STOP READING NOW. Anyways, love you all and I hope your day/ or night is amazing, and if it's not going very well then I hope it gets better <3.
