Chapter 5: Caught

Hi guys, I wanted to start off by saying thank you to @cstr19 for voting on the story and @makennadladner for always commenting on the new chapters, it really makes my day. Also I was going to start writing Tuesday, but I had an off day so I decided to take a break that day and focus on myself for a little bit, because school has been very stressful, I'm sure you can all understand. And I am sorry for not updating sooner. Anyways lets get back to the story. Enjoy chapter 5.

Emily's Pov:

It has been a week since JJ got out of the hospital, and 3 weeks since she had her surgery and today is the day she is finally coming back to work. We finally decided to go on our dinner date last night to congratulate her on her return to the BAU, and it was the best date I had ever been on. The night started off kind of rough because we were both nervous, but she looked gorgeous in the black dress she wore, it was a little above the knee and it was off the shoulder showing off her collarbones, she wore matching black velvet heels that added about an two inches to her height. I wore a red slip dress that showed off the right amount of cleavage, I know it was the right amount because JJ could barely get her eyes to look up at mine. I also wore red faux suede open toe stilettos. We started off the night by getting dinner at an Italian restaurant, but it was not as good as Rossi's we both agreed we should have just gone there, then after we got some gelato, and went for a walk around downtown.

It was starting to get cold so we decided to go to my place to just relax for the rest of the night, so I grabbed some wine, for me, and water for JJ and a blanket from my closet, and we went to the couch and turned on the TV, we couldn't decide to on what to watch, but it was December so we ended up watching a christmas movie, specifically elf, it was both of our favorite christmas movie. So we were watching elf and cuddling, and when the movie finished, it was around 11 pm, I realized that JJ was asleep so I decided to stay there with her and just hold her and the next thing I know, I'm falling asleep on the couch with the most beautiful girl in the world.

JJ's Pov:

What the heck, where am I? I look around me and realize where I am, I shoot up and realize I am on the couch, I get up and start walking around I hear the shower running, so I assume Emily is in there. I walk into the kitchen and see two cups of coffee and a plate of eggs and bacon, I see another plate in the sink so I assume this one is for me, I was so focused on everything in the kitchen, that is until I feel Emily's arms wrap around my waist and kiss my head.

"Good morning sleepy head." she says as she spins me around and kissed me on the lips, that is when I realized that she was only wearing her towel.

"Well its a better morning now." I kiss her back and look down.

"Aww. I know you're happy to see me, but are you gonna eat your food, c'mon you know I never cook." She pushed me towards the table a little bit.

"Oh alright, but I still have to get ready. I don't want to be late on my first day back." I responded. I grabbed the plate and walked to the table with Emily still behind me, hands on my waist. "Speaking of which you should probably go get changed, and I do not have time to go home and get clothes so can I borrow some of yours."

"Yeah of course, my room is down the hall to the right. Pick whatever you want."

"Thank you!" by this time I had finished the food and was picking up the dishes and walking to her room. I picked out some simple black pants that she had and a white striped shirt with one of her black blazers. Once we were ready we walked out the door.

Emily's Pov:

JJ and I walk in together arm in arm, which wasn't weird for us because we sometimes did that along with wearing each other's clothes because we had spent the night. When we opened the doors we realized that Hotch wasn't there yet because we saw Spencer doing physics magic. Derek and Rossi do his physics along with Garcia. We see Morgan and Garcia look up and smile, Spencer notices this and shifts his attention. Spencer was always good at noticing things, even though no one said anything.

"JJ those are Emily's clothes, right?" Reid says while looking at both of us. We exchange a look and I respond with, "Yeah Reid, I slept over at Emily's last night so we could carpool today." He looks at us with his eyes squinting. I had realized that Reid knew that because this was my go-to outfit whenever I stayed over at Emily's, so if he knew that these were Emily's clothes, why did he ask.

"Okay, but you wore those last month, and they fit-" Reid stopped halfway through his sentence, by now Garcia and Morgan were smiling because they knew he figured it out, and Rossi looked completely shocked and Rossi said exactly what Reid was thinking,

"Are you pregnant?" a smile started to show on his face. We were all so focused we didn't even hear Hotch come in, we didn't know he was here until he said, "Who's pregnant?" Emily and I look behind us to see a semi-confused Hotch looking up from the paperwork in his hand. Then he says, "Wait, who's pregnant?" even more confused now.

JJ gives a slight smile and Hotch replies with a congrats and gives her a hug, followed by Spence and Rossi doing the same thing. " I didn't even know that I had started showing, I guess I had just been preoccupied." I leave the group to go get more coffee and while I was at the coffee machine filling my cup I hear Morgan and Reid whispering, then Morgan started speaking and that got my attention "So while we are on the topic of sharing secrets, since you guys are family, Reid and I would finally like to publicly announce our relationship." The whole team gave an "aww" as Morgan kissed Reid forehead.

JJ's Pov:

I really liked being back I loved the energy. I loved my family and I was thankful when Hotch said that we didn't have a case because I still wasn't cleared for the field.

"Alright, so we don't have a case right now and since all of you submitted your paperwork, I guess go home get some much need rest and I will call you if something does come up." with that we all packed up our stuff, I got a few more hugs from everyone and Emily and I walked out the door.

We went back to Emily's place and a couple hours had passed so Emily was now cooking us dinner, "You know, I'm actually not a bad cook. I had some practice when I was younger. I might not be as good as Rossi, but still pretty good." she said as she tied up her hair in a loose bun.

"It's weird, I can actually believe that" I said with a slight chuckle.

"Hey Jayje, I have a question for you?" she said.

"Yeah what's up" That's when she asked, "Do you want to move in with me?"

Hi hi. sorry that took kinda long. But I hope you enjoyed chapter 5, I should be updating more often but, I'm not sure yet. Also when I write these I try to go at least 1,000 words per chapter because why not, also it is a productive thing for me to do. Love you all, and see you when chapter 6 is released.
