Well, today was the first day back at school. Normally, I would be happy about it, because of being one of the few kids in high school with an acting job, I get along with anyone. Most girls in my school are clingy, rude, and obsessive over me, except for one. At least this one stands out to me. Lily. Lily Carmina. She has curly blonde hair, really pretty blue eyes, and is the Cheerleader captain.
Lily is more of the calm kind of girl, she is actually nice, and not a complete jerk like cheerleaders are in movies.
Lily's POV
Most people think of cheerleaders as stuck up, snobby girls. I changed that though. I am the team captain, and unlike some other cheerleaders, I don't think I'm better than everyone. (No offense to cheerleaders, I didn't know what she should say.) I honestly don't believe I'm that good at cheerleading, but the school says I am. My family on the other hand, think I suck at it and just got picked for my looks, which is also something they complain about.
I feel like I'm the only normal person in this school though. Every girl I see or hear is obsessing over a guy- the same guy. That guy is Chandler Riggs. He's cute and all, but I'm not one of those girls who loves being the center of attention.
Chandler's POV
Today went pretty well. Even though I still haven't talked to Lily since before summer started, I still see her a lot. My best friend, Mingus, keeps telling me to ask her out. But I can tell she would say no, because of all the other girls in this school who have an obsession with me.
When I got home from school my mom called me over. "Hey, how was your first day of school?" She asks. She asks this every year. "Fine." I said. "Dinner is on the table. Your father and I have already ate and so has Grayson." She says to me. Great. Another dinner eaten alone. I sigh and walk in the kitchen. There's pizza, cheesy bread sticks, and ribs! She knows me so well!
After I finished eating, I went up to my room. I got a text from Mingus. "Hey bro. Join me on Minecraft!" It says. I laugh. I turn on my Xbox One, and put in the disc. I go into the game and join Mingus's game. When I go into it there's a huge building that says 'The Walking Dead'. We play for a while and start pouring lava over each others houses. At about 10 we stopped playing. I text Mingus, "Night.", and go to sleep.
