Chapter 9- Who Were You Talking To?

Lily's POV

For some reason I think Chandler's mad at me. He hasn't talked to me since he came home and it has been over an hour. I walk up to him. "Hey, Chandler. I think we have to talk..." I say to him. "I've been thinking the same thing. Who were you talking to on the phone outside of my hospital room earlier?" He asks. "I was talking to my friend, Lizzy. She's from California. Is that why you were avoiding me?" I ask frustratedly.

He looks embarrassed. "Yes... I thought you had a boyfriend or something...." He says softly. "Well, don't worry. I only like one guy. But he'd probably never go out with me." I say.

He looks at me.

Chandler's POV

"I have the same issue." I say. "The boy you like probably won't go out with you?" She asks as she smiles. "No! I meant with a girl!" I say as she starts to laugh. Just then Steven comes up to me. "Hey kid. I have a question. Follow me." He says. I follow him into the kitchen. "Ask." I say. "I don't know how to ask this--- but oh well. Do you wanna build a snowman?" He sings. I start laughing. "No. Go away Anna." I say as I walk away.

I go back to Lily. "What did he want?" She asks. "Uhh... He was singing 'Do You Wanna Build A Snowman'." I say as I laugh. She gets up and motions for me to go outside. I follow her. "Lily..." I stop her. "Will you be my girlfriend?" I ask. She looks shocked.

Lily's POV

I can't believe he asked me that. "Uh- Chandler..... I can't." I say. He looks at me and says, "Wow. I told you the girl I liked didn't like me.". I feel really bad. "Chandler... I'm sorry." I say. "But I have a question for you-"
