Chapter 2- Don't You Remember?

Chandler's POV

When I woke up in the morning, I checked my phone. I had 4 texts and 2 missed calls. 3 texts were from Norman, and one was from a random number. I quickly look at them.

Hey. Wake up. This is really serious! -Norman

Chandler! It's about Mingus!- Norman

He was hit by a car... Chandler.. Please call me now.- Norman

Hey.- Private Number

I called Norman as soon as I saw his texts.

N-Norman

C-Chandler

C- Hey! Is he okay? Where is he?

N- Chandler, calm down. The doctor said he should be fine. But, he might not remember some stuff...

C- Wait... What kind of stuff? Like who we are?

N- Yes. Anything. He might not even remember me.

C- Norman... I'm coming now.. I'll be there in a gew minutes.

The whole time we were on the phone he was crying, I was crying, my bestfriend just got hit by a car, and he might not remember me... He might not remember our friendship, our memories..

I quickly put on my Jordans and a The Walking Dead shirt and run downstairs. "Mom!! Take me to the hospital! I need to see Mingus! Now!" I yell. She runs over to me and motions for me to get in the car. By the time we got to the hospital, I was crying even worse. I might lose my bestfriend, the only person that I can trust.

We run up to the desk. "Where is Mingus Reedus?!" I scream. "Room 256, and please be a little quieter." She says. I start running down the hall. When I open the door, I see 2 doctors, and 3 nurses standing in the room. I see Norman crying. I see a motionless body lying on the bed.

I start to cry even harder. "Mingus.. wake up!" I yell. Just then the monitor starts to beep. I sink to the floor with Norman crying behind me. The nurses start doing CPR on Mingus as the beeping stops. Just then Mingus opens his eyes. I run over to him. "Mingus! You're alive!" I say as I stop crying.

He looks at me funny. "Where am I? And who are all of yous?" He says. "You're in the hospital.. I'm your bestfriend.. That's your dad... Don't you remember us?" I say with a sad look on my face. "No.. I'm sorry, kid." He says.

I walk out of the room.

Norman's POV

I can't believe he doesn't remember us.. I  start crying again. "Mingus... I love you.." I say to him. He looks at me wierd. "Who are you? Where is Maggie?!" He screams. Just then, Chandler walks back in. "Who's Maggie, Mingus?" Chandler and I ask at the same time.  "I don't know.. That's the last thing I remember though. It's actually the only thing." He says. He starts to cry.

Chandler pulls out his phone. He starts playing a song. "Neon Lights" by Demi Lovato comes on. Suddenly Mingus sits up. "Hey.. I remember this song.. Me and... You.... We used to dance to this all the time!" He says as he points to Chandler. I start laughing. "Mingus!" I scream. "Do you remember me?" I ask. "No.. I'm sorry.." He says. I fall to the ground. I need a plan...
