Chandler's POV
When she said no, my heart broke. I felt like falling to the floor and crying. "Chandler, I'm sorry. But I have a question for you." She says to me. "Ask." I say in a depressed tone. "Can you help me practice asking the guy I like out?" She asks.
Why would she ask me that right after she rejected me?! "Sure. Why not? Start now." I say to her.
"So I was wondering if you would like to go out with me-- as girlfriend and boyfriend though." She asks. "Yes, Lily. I would love to!" I say to her. "Thanks Chandler." She says to me. "Now go ask whoever you like out. He has to be crazy to say no." I say.
"Chandler, will you go out with me?" She asks. I freeze. "Lily!!! You scared me! Of course I'll go out with you!" I sort of scream and sort of laugh. "I wanted to ask you. So I figured if you asked me, I would say no and ask you!" She barely says, more like she laughs it out.
We walk back in the house. "Well, now since we're officially dating, I was thinking why don't you try out for Payton from The Walking Dead?!" I say to her. She looks at me, obviously surprised. "Why?! I suck at acting!" She says. "You do not suck! I believed you, myself! And I was on the #1 tv show!!" I say pretty loudly. Luckily no one heard me. "Ya know what Chandler? Fine. I'll do it! Just to shut you up!" She says.
"I love youu!" I say to her. "I hate you too bæ!" She says. I start laughing. "We all know that's a lie." I say. She slaps me on the arm.
